Hey, I'd totally search for this but I can't right now due to the high forum traffic and the feature being disabled.  I want to save some money to get the best 2her out there.  I've heard about these so far:
  • Celebrant
  • Blade of Mercy
  • Limbtaker
  • Bloom (got it)
What am I missing?  Thanks!

Limbtaker:
35 Phys damage (57 per second)
+126 attack
+10% phys damage
+25% chance of death blows
1 socket

The Celebrant:
38 Spirit damage (62 per second) and apparently pierces armor
+3 strength
+3 willpower
+21% threat generation
1 socket

Those are from the Gamespot forums.  Funny I was just looking at Sundering.  They mentiong spirit damage is good because of less damage mitigation associated with it?

Arelex's Act III Picks - Blade of Mercy & Bloom
Bloom gives you great cold damage, and there aren't many cold resistant enemies in the end-game, and Blade of Mercy gives you increased attack and attack speed. Both have 2 rune slots, throw in the Primeval Lyrium Rune and the Rune of Devastation and DO WORK!

You rock, thanks AreleX. I just realized I can't get Celebrant because my quest is bugged. Glad I already have 1/2 of the best picks and the other is waiting for me as I haven't done On The Loose yet. :)

Other than Champion's Armor, my 2-hander Hawk didn't have a single item with +attack and he still had easily well over what was required for 100% vs. normal enemies, all due to Anders' Heroic Aura or whatever it's called.

So I was very happy to use Sundering, since +attack was useless for me.

Nice, yea I think the 2 rune slots are what make the other two weapons stand apart from the rest.  It seems Bloom would have worked nicely for you as well.

what does Attack do? Isnt it useless if you don't use AutoAttack? My melee attacks always hit.

I like the Blade of Mercy for the attack speed and two rune slots.

But really... one of each of the top damage to get past resistances is nice.

To me, The Celebrant is definitely the best 2 hander. My attack is pretty much maxed out, and using Reaver and Berserker, attack speed isn't really a problem.

Besides, The Celebrant's threat generation really comes in handy in battles as it lures enemies away from my ranged attackers. Anyways, come on! How many spirit damage two handers do you see in this game?! It's special! :D

Bloom, IMO, is the best end game 2h. Most of the important end game bosses you'll face are weak to cold. Plus, it has 2 rune slots to socket PL rune and a Devastation rune.
