I run a very high end system that is clean and used just for gaming.  This is the worst modern PC product launch I have seen since the turn of the century.   There is simply no configuration of screen resolution or settings where there is not some obvious and upsetting problem.  The only settings I can get all things to work is 800x600 in windowed mode.  In any full screen mode, the mouse does not sync with the screen.   In any higher resolution mode, graphics errors and framerate cycles are simply unacceptable for a modern title with premium pricing.   This will be the last Bioware game I ever buy for a PC.

I'm sorry, but I'm running this game on a lower specced machine than yours and it's fine @1920*1080 and 'high' settings.
While there certainly are problems, it's hardly the worst of this century.

Same. Three year old 800GTX and it runs perfectly fine. This whole complaint is a little silly. It's hardly Bioware's responsibility to make sure their game runs on your particular system, and there are so many possible reasons why it might not, that it would be impossible to even list them here. This is a fact of PC gaming, and has been since it's inception. It sucks that OP is having a hard time, but blaming it on Bioware is a little unreasonable. You could just as easily blame it on your PC.

This is the buggiest game since Gothic 3. I was NOT expecting this from BioWare.

They used to be up here- Now they are down here_

Hoping there is some serious patching in the next week or two or my once stellar opinion of this company will be forever damaged.

Not as bad as Gothic 3, I guess you haven't played Hellgate: London ;)

DA2 has bugs, but they are nowhere near as bad as they could be, but also, nowhere near as good as it could be. Definitely not the worst though.

Love these kinds of comments. I played through the game from beginning to end. I encountered two bugs. One was fixed with just a quick reload, and the other I found a fix for using a simple google search. Neither were game breaking, and did not impact my game experience at all.

I believe that every single game I have played for the last 10 years has been called the buggiest game ever on some online gaming forum. They never are. YMMV.

That's the first buggy game I stumbled upon in 15 years.
There were no games which I couldn't complete because of bugs.

I play the game on PC, and have only encountered some bugs so far. People may be running into bugs, and posting them in the forums, but that doesn't automatically make it the buggiest game. A buggy game, perhaps, but to go to that extreme like that isn't right, lol.

the game was broken on nvidia cards before nvidia fixed it. That should have been concern of bioware/EA. They said that they had taken care of dx11 on nvidia cards, but they lied. This topic is result of that lie.

"The PC demo has known performance and stability issues with DirectX 11. These have been fixed in the final game."
It works exactly the same. Same black triangles on floor and extremely poor performance. Nvidia fixed, thanks to them.

It's not BioWare's fault that NVIDIA didn't update their drivers on time. They might've "lied" on that statement, but to blame BioWare for NVIDIA not releasing proper drivers is wrong. BioWare definitely still needs to work on patching this game, but NVIDIA is just as much at fault too.

They might take the OP seriously if the post was not done in nerdrage mode. Never make a post in caps. Though i agree that releasing the game in its state was a bad move, but releasing games before they are finished is normal these days. Especially on PC. Bulletstorm was released with some serious performance issues and is being neglected by the developer, though there are fixes for them out there it still says alot about developers these days. The game runs fine on Dx 9 for me. But still waiting for drivers or patch for DX11. Though Shogun 2 total war is keeping me occupied until then.

BS. Bioware should fix their game. It is not nvidia's job to fix every developer's code in their drivers.
Game does not work on any WHQL nvidia drivers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WHQL_WHQL means that this drivers were tested by microsoft. DX11 works on them, otherwise they would have failed the test. It works just fine in any other dx11 application.

BioWare should fix their game, but it is also on NVIDIA's side too. And I'm sorry, but the 267.59 WHQL drivers that were released 7 days after the game fixed all my issues with performance and freezing, and made it playable with DX11, where other drivers did not. http://www.nvidia.co...hql-driver.html

BioWare usually makes very buggy games. This is definitely not their buggiest game.

I installed 2 different Nvidia beta driver by hacking the INF. I reinstalled almost every drivers on my computer. Re-Downloaded the game twice. All of it, still result in crashing in DX11 every few hours into the game

In DX9, the game runs without crash. But then I bump into the Isabella friendship bug which makes my PC attack getting slower and slower. Thus, I have to download a save game editor to hack my save file just to fix it, and have to do it again everytime Isabella goes in/out the party.

Not to mention other little things like the resurrect bug. Dragons that chain knockdown without giving you a break, forcing you to kite it around. Rouges that can 1 hit mages/rouges (more like a balancing issue)...etc.

I think the OP has legit reasons to be upset. But I would not uses all caps to write the subject. :P

Been playing Bioware's game ever since the first Baldur's Gate. And this is the first one I ever feel being frustrated at for all the problems and issues.

If you are referring to the technical support forum being full of peple reporting running into bugs, well, yes.  That's kind of what the technical support forum is for.  Just because some people are having problems and posting up asking for help (or raging at Bioware) it doesn't mean the game is broken for all.  In fact it may well be that the game works for the majority and only a minority are having problems.  Perhaps Bioware could set up a "Everything is fine" forum for people to post up in if they have no problems? Image IPB For comparison?

Seriously though, I don't doubt people are having problems, there are some issues affecting some people.  Bioware are aware of these issues and will release a patch asap.

Some people are saying they would rather have waited another month or two while Bioware did more QAing on the game, yet these same people are spamming the tech boards asking for a patch RTF now... It leaves me very confused.  But then again I'm a  gamer from the older days of PC Gaming, Doom onwards, so perhaps I'm just accepting of these sort of bugs and issues at a game upon its release.

Well, game is bugged like hell, though most of bugs are minor.

Still it does say something that in what, two weeks from release there is about 60 pages of threads in support forum.

True enough, although I think part of the problem is that there is no "search" option on the forums, at least an obvious one that I can see.  So a lot of the posts might be the same problem, but people can't search for existing threads on what they're afflicted with.  There's already a lot of sticky threads on page 1 with common problems that have been reported a fair few times, and a lot of the posts I'm seeing being created are just copies of these... not all (there's still some unique issues some people are having), but a lot.

So let's assume that half of topics are doubles of other and/or otherwise non-issue. That still gives us thirty odd pages of valid report topics. In two weeks. Quite a lot I'd say.
