Sunnie's Item Pack 2 v1.0

Includes:
-Evolving Avaline's shield and sword

Evolving Ser Wesley's Shield and Chevalier's Reach. Now useful beyond the prologue, added rune slots, fire resistance for the shield and spirit damage for the sword.

To install, unpack and drop sunnie_aveline_weap.erf in the games override folder. This will not override items that have already been saved in a character save, however, it will be the new modified version if you start a new game or summon it them with the console.


Evolving Knight-Templar Regalia

Armor can now be worn at any level and will scale with player level. Additional rune slot added to compensate for stat losses due to the way the evolution system works.

-Evolving Shield of the Resolute

Shield can now be worn at any level and will scale with player level. Additional rune slot added, and Spirit damage resistance.

-Evolving Hayder's Razor

Hayders Razor is now evolving and is usefull through the entire story. Additional rune slot added.

-Evolving Edge of Song & Glory

Sword will now scale with player level, becoming useful beyond Act 1. Rune slots added.

To install, unpack and drop sunnie_edge_song.erf in the games override folder. This will not override a sword that has already been obtained and saved in a character save, however, it will be the new modified version if you receive it normally or summon it with the console.



To summon any of these items with the dev console, use the Vaddi mod located at http://social.biowar.../index/6587675.
After installing that mod and enabling the dev console, hit tilde (`) and enter "runscript vaddin [item name]" and hit return.

hey sunnie I have a problem using this mod because I cant find the items name I have used every name I can think of but it says none found can you help please

How are you trying to summon them? id you have Vaddi installed just type out "runscript vaddin [1 or 2 words successive words in the item name in lower case]" 
example: runscript vaddin ser wesl
The above example will find Ser Wesley's Shield.

ok for one thing vaddin doesnt work when I try it but vaddi does work and I tried typing ser or ser wesl and nothing pops up other then like beserker specialization tome and some other stuff

Don't quite know what to tell you, I just now summoned them with "vaddin ser wesl" and "vaddin chevalier".
You mght try hitting backspace a few times after hitting the ` to open the dev console. sometimes there are a few junk characters sitting on the console line when you open it.

ok nvm I got it to work had to uninstall the vaddi mod and now vaddin works thank you for the mod

I don't understand about the summoning part, I have installed Vaddi and now what?:ohow to run dev console? And how to obtain Shield of Resolute + Knight Templar Regalia? I'm confused. Hope someone can help me:unsure:

Yeah, to access the console you must go to the Dragon Age 2/bin_ship folder and find dragonage2.exe then create a shortcut to it. Then open properties of the shortcut and after the filename add the following so it looks like this...


"C:\\Users\\Public\\Games\\Dragon Age 2\\bin_ship\\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole

Now, your game may be in "Program Files" if it is, then it would be slightly diferent, but the -enabledeveloperconsole is the same

Then use that shortcut to enter the game instead of normal.  Then you must go to your key_config file in the settings folder and change the Open_console_0 command to Button_f6 instead of Button_Grave that it is now.

You can TRY it without changing it, at which point it's the ` key usually just above tab and below ESC, but many report that key doesn't work for them.

In game you must press your ` or F6 and nothing will seem to happen, then you will NOT see what you type when the console is up, but type

runscript vaddin blah

and you'll find all the stuff that cointains "blah" in it's name.If your character moves or anything while you are typing, the console isn't working.  Also, make sure you have ONLY VADDIN installed, and not his vaddi mod.. the vaddi mod you must know item codes, much easier (and amazing on his part) to seach by item name.

One question for Sunnie. Granted I'll be summoning these, but with the Isabela daggers, when I first encountered Isabela after installing these (on a new game) she had no daggers (or were invisible) until she became a party member.

Is this is the same with the shield/sword?

Well I was thinking that you would still need the original DLC to get the items and only the stats would change, if that's not the case than I agree since like you I have the Signature Edition.

Depends.. the items that are in the DLC erf are encrypted and I can't get to them.
What items exactly are you referring to?

I have already modded most of the pre-order and bonus items. You can use them or not. I don't mean to be crass, but I can mod anything not locked in encrypted files.

Aveline has the sword and shield without issue. One thing to note however, is that there seems to be some bugs with Isabella scripting as I removed the modded daggers and reran her recruitment and she still had missing dagger appearances for the first part through Hightown.
