Hey all! I didn't see a topic for this right off on a google site search, so looking for some advice.
I have run into several characters during the game whose arms flash in and out of existence. It's a *little* weird. It's a very fast flickering where the polygons that make up part of the arms will sometimes blink. When they are gone, you see the background behind the character. I haven't seen a consistent pattern for this--- most recently, I chatted with a merchant who was fine the first few times I talked to him, but he has one blinking arm now. Sometimes it seems like it's just above the elbow, tho I think another character had a shoulder pauldron that kept coming and going. The gameplay, movement, etc all seem normal aside from this, so it must just be a glitch in rendering or something..?
Anyone else getting this? Any recommendations? If it helps any, I've also got an odd green flickering box in the upper left corner of the game during loading times (loading saved games or moving between areas.) Could be separate issues, could be related-- not really sure, so thought I'd mention that too.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

I'm having the same problem. I haven't been able to find a solution and most people who ask this question are met with complete silence. It would be nice if someone could figure out what's going on and how to fix it.

Have you tried to activate vertical sync? for the odd green flickering box I know they have been mentioned before but I can't quite remember the solution for it, sorry.

i had seen something posted about the green flickering and updating nvidia drivers... which is what i happen to have in my laptop. i did a driver update and the green box issue has gone away. i haven't seen any flickering of armor or clothing since then, although i don't know if it's fixed or if i just haven't run into it again yet. (i think i've gotten in a good 10-12 hours of playing, so i'm hoping it actually is resolved.) on the downside, i have started experiencing the weird lags in gameplay that some other users have described. (my game will suddenly grind almost to a halt for about 15 seconds, then pick back up again.) not sure which glitch i preferred!
@mtbedwards, i hope this is of some use to you! i'll keep my eyes peeled in case there's anything else about it in the forums. @dinria, i didn't try the vertical sync, but i can give it a shot if i have any additional strangeness. sadly, i'm not savvy enough with my computer to know what half of the video control options do!! thanks to both of you for your replies!

According to the Bioware employee that's a problem occurring because of the graphic card. In mass effect 2 there is a similar problem to this one and of what I understood it was due to the graphic cards memory was full. I don't know what you have for graphic card but it might happen that it's because of that and then it would be easiest to lower all the settings a bit and see if it gets better. If you say which graphic card you have I could maybe say anything more useful
