Ive noticed that the companions have battle cries or some words the shout when in battle, but I could not make out what Merrill says, probably Dalish.

Does anyone know what she says in a heated fight?  It sounds like "Esalin" or something like that

I have heard her say "Do you think they're tiring? I'm tiring." many times. Dunno about the elvish speak though.

She follows it up with "Because I'M tiring!" She says it when she's low on mana.

I've mainly heard her say "May the Dread Wolf take you!" and "May the Creators show you mercy, cause I certainly won't!" Those are the two I actually remember her saying...

(For getting up after dying though I love her "Next time can we fight some flowers or a pack of bunnies? I think I'd do better..." She's just too adorable. )

I can't understand anyone but Anders, and that's only the ones that are similiar to his battle cries in DA:A. :/

I thought she was saying "Lethallin", which is Dalish for friend, I think. Others, I can somewhat hear clearly. Aveline's "order will rule" and Anders' "this is my favorite part", for example. Varric says something I can't quite make out though, "let the fighting start....?"

Then I think its "Lethallin" as you said. Because it sounds similar except she shouts it like "lathalleeeen!"

Merrill made me laugh when Varric fell in battle. "Varric, if you're faking I'm going to kill you!"

I also like isabela's "Someone needs a good spanking!"

And if you build her around her specialty and use her full mana on sustains, she says it ALL THE TIME.

I'm going to have to once again adjust volumes because I've only really head a few of those and they were very good. They just get drowned out in the ambient sound and music.

Isabela says "and they say drinking isn't good for you" (paraphrased) when you order her to have a potion.

Lol the potion lines are funny. "What's in this? it tastes like fish!"

There's a pause after the "Lethallin" line where Merrill follows with "more are coming!" as the next wave of enemies pops up.

I always get a kick out of Isabela's "If we kill them, we get their stuff!" I'm sure she's delighted by how many bottles of aged Antivan brandy we find. x)

I want to know what Fenris is saying. I feel like he's talking the entire time we fight, but I can never make anything out. I know some of it is in Tevinter.

I think they also added "Suck on a fireball" to his collection. I don't remember that one from Awakening, and it was always just really awkward. (Especially since he didn't know any fire spells; he had that thing with the electricity.)

Speaking about the battle cries, I was really dissapointed by the Qunari and Tal-Vasoth.
Not even one of them compares to Sten and his mighty "Nehraa Beresaad!".

its nice how they incorporated those lines in battle, adds a flavour.
when a companion dies, they say something, when they drink a potion, when they are fighting, etc
