I put in the code for Ser Issac and nothing happened.
How do you link your gamertag?

go to your EA account and add your xbox live name to your listed personas. I personally have had trouble doing so as my gamertag is appently already linked to another EA account, one that doesn't exist as far as i'm aware. for me i think the problem arose when i signed into the servers on ME2 when my gamertag was under a different email
