Just out of curiosity, is Hawke being an apostate every acknowledged during the game? Seems kind of odd that a Mage could raise to fame and power without the Templars coming to take him/her away. Especially given the context of the story...

constantly mentioned... and they give a semi plausable reason for you not being taken. Everyone ignores your magic for the most part though. Fenris being one of only two characters to even take notice without you telling them heheh.

If you take Blood Mage specilization, does that get noticed by NPCs? I'm thinking about doing a Mage playthrough but supporting the Templars. Will they even know that I am using Blood Magic?

I grabbed Blood magic on my mage and I didn't see any specific mention of it.
