Alistair dumps me.... ME!!! The nerve of him! I could have slapped that silly grin of his all the way to Orlais....
And THEN I found out that Morrigan doesn't swing that way.... damn! Guess I'll have to go back to Leliana's arms.

Or you could polish up your coercion skill and marry the guy as his queen, if your avatar is the character, which appears to be a female human noble, the only ones who actually have that option.
It's sad when a knife-ear can't even identify their own.

Oh, his sister! That floor-scrubbing shrew! I took Alistair back to visit her from time to time and see if she would reconsider. She didn't even acknowledge our presense! Just kept scrubbing her floor and never looked up, never said a word.LeandraNyx wrote...
If you hardened him up during his personal quest (telling him that everyone is just out for themselves and he has to learn that), he'll keep you on as his lover if you make him king... but uh yeah, I found myself in the same situation, a mage who was a softy about his sister and totally heartbroken. I just reloaded my Landsmeet auto-save... I mean, I'm just respecting his wishes right, he never wanted to be king anyway. >.>
Also, if she is so sodding destitute, why does she have such a fine house in the middle of prime market district property? That is a castle compared to the hovels in the Alienage! Sodding human b*tch!

Pfeh, I have my arcane studies to attend to! I have little use for the physiognomical details of inferior beings (That is, beings that are not me or Duncan's Beard)!
And stop calling us knife-ears, you speciesist!

It's a fact, writers didn't want us, females players to be happy in the end, blocking any ways because they decided about DAO 2 background already.
Women and male PCs both get Leliana and Zevran.
Male PCs get Morrigan, who will leave no matter what you do.
Women PCs get Alistiar, who you can live with together forever if you play your cards right and even as the queen of Ferelden if you're a human noble.
It's kinda obvious who get the better deal and it's not the menfolk.

She's been complaining about this all over the forums, mere facts won't sway her.

I'm kind of hoping my Male Human Noble can be king of Ferelden and keep Leliana. Though Anora is a bit of a cutie.Maria Caliban wrote...

I don't care who I can and can't get - ALISTAIR DUMPED ME!! ME!!!
That's why in my second game I'm playing a Human Noble Rogue. She's planning to sleep her way across Ferelden. Further, she's planning to have her way with Zevran, then Alistair and then Lelianna. Nothing says "It's over" then leaving your lover for a member of the same sex.
I was going to have him die killing the Big Bad, but I think leaving him married to Miss Frozen Chosen (Alona) is the more vindictive choice.

Ewww no thanks! Although a good story-teller and amusing at times, she is shallow and her character and back-story is rather bland.jynthor wrote...
Who cares Leliana is by far the best option for female PC's .
Sten might have presented an interesting alternative, however. I was also surprised to find that Bann Teagan seemed to have romantic feelings for my mage character just a few sentences after meeting her!

Human Noble Men can marry Anora (and why not, she's a total hottie) and become king, Let Alistair kill Loghain to have revenge for both of you, marry Anora, become king, Alistair is happy because he doesn't have to be king, sleep with Morrigan and Anora's none the wiser right?
