Human Noble Men can marry Anora (and why not, she's a total hottie) and become king.

She turned me down flat the b*tch!!! I think I need to revisit her with a couple of bottles of the Arl's best wine and persuade her at what a... good King I'd be!

Someone mentioned that for him not to dump you, you have to already seduced him into bed before the event. That marks you as his one true love and he won't dump you. Otherwise he will chose the greater good - because a Kingdom needs Heirs.

I slept with him before the Landsmeet and he still dumped me.  What you need to do is choose the option during his personal quest to tell him that everyone is out for themselves and he should learn that; it makes him learn to be a bit more selfish.

I reloaded my save to try and get the king ending myself, hmm.. seems she only wants me to be prince consort, but she will marry me. Poor Leliana though.. should I let her down gently, or surprise her with my intentions at landsmeet?

Did you kill Loghain?
I'm told she won't marry her father's "murderer" despite all he's done. Why? Well she's an idiot and should die.

Well I already completed the game as this character with Alistair as king in a loveless, political marriage to Anora, with myself as the Chancellor, but taking my leave to wander the world with my love Leliana, and Morrigan disappearing carrying my unborn child..

I wanna check out other endings you know!

Besides, I romanced Iona first, then Morrigan, and then Leliana, the "Pup" is quite the sly dog.. ;)

My female Elf mage is currently in a loving relationship with Leliana, though she had a brief moment of weakness for a man of her own kind and "made a mistake" with Zevran, Leliana made her tell him it wouldn't happen again though, and Alistair.. well.. the poor guy is a virgin.. she feels sorry for him, but I think I'll let Morrigan pop his cherry, that'd be justice... cause they hate each other so much :x

I have a female noble rogue that I intend to seduce Alistair and become his queen.  Haven't played past the intro part yet though.

Well he doesn't let that stop him when he decides to marry a human noble female. He mentions how hard it is for 2 grey wardens to concieve a child together, but you have the option to mention it will be fun trying. For him to use the same speech on non human females comes off as racist. Its like a horrible excuse to not have them be his queen. I undestand coming right out and saying: "The kingdom won't approve of an elf or dwarf as their queen. Let's play it safe, see ya." seems much worse.

I would like to think that Alistair would change things like that around and unify two cultures and races by marrying outside of the human race, but that might be too much for the DAO kingdom. All they need is an unexperienced king who then decides to unite dwarves and humans or even worse make them see elves as a superior.

Still to have to go through so much and have him talk about how much he loves you and then he ditches you, it hurts. My revenge would be not to take Morrigan's offer and get myself killed or bring him along and have him kill himself. I'm vindictive like that. "You didn't fire me, I quit." scenario.

If I took the offer after he dumped me there would be no way I would stand on the same platform as him while he talks about how awesome I was and how I saved everyone. I would've had to bite back all my venomous remarks.

I don't care who I can and can't get - ALISTAIR DUMPED ME!! ME!!!

That's why in my second game I'm playing a Human Noble Rogue. She's planning to sleep her way across Ferelden. Further, she's planning to have her way with Zevran, then Alistair and then Lelianna. Nothing says "It's over" then leaving your lover for a member of the same sex.

I was going to have him die killing the Big Bad, but I think leaving him married to Miss Frozen Chosen (Alona) is the more vindictive choice.

So I'm not the only one with plans for revenge!!!

It's a fact, writers didn't want us, females players to be happy in the end, blocking any ways because they decided about DAO 2 background already.

Women and male PCs both get Leliana and Zevran.

Male PCs get Morrigan, who will leave no matter what you do.
Women PCs get Alistiar, who you can live with together forever if you play your cards right and even as the queen of Ferelden if you're a human noble.

It's kinda obvious who get the better deal and it's not the menfolk.

She's been complaining about this all over the forums, mere facts won't sway her. :P

Well, I am sorry if I disagree with the fact that you've to cheat on your lover whenever you're a male or a female player.

Almost none of us care to become a queen with Alistair and also this can't happen if you're not a from a noble family. I found this totally illogical because you worked hard to save all those people who are agaianst your relationship.

About Morrigan leaving you even if you romance her, I can't say I am not against it but the plot was made like that, you just have to protest like me saying : why is there a romance system if it end like that ?

From a female point of view, Morrigan became you bestfriend after completing her quest, then she cheat on you with Alistair ? And whatever you do, if don't accept her offer he die ? No thanks, it's illogical!

Another thing, why your PC can't leave with Morrigan if they're in love ? None will reply to you and yes it's unfair to get dumped, none like it so do I. That's why I would like to have another solution instead of just dying or get cheated or dumped whenever I play male or female character.

There is no real explanation about the end of the game (Landmeet), things just happen so it's normal to get pissed :?

Wow, Leliana took that rather well, I even offered to make her my mistress, she insisted she couldn't do that, and broke up with me without any loss of approval.. she's just at 100 (friendly)

Sigh, I thought I could totally win the game.. be the king, married to Anora, Leliana as my mistress, Morrigan carrying my baby.. dangit :P

Nevermind, a quick conversation and she's back in love with me!

OMG, Alistair has charmed my pants off every time I play.  I hadn't even thought about how deliciously ironic and awful that would be for Alistair to pop his cherry with Morrigan!  LOL.

Nope.
I played as human noble, had the romance with Alistair, seduced him quite early and - being a good girl - never went astray and seduced someone else. My character was loyal to Alistair up to the end. When it came to the landsmeet question, I suggested, the best solution were for him to marry the queen. He started whining, he doesn't want to, because he loved only me and wanted to be with me forever.
O.k., fine with me, so I told her, no wedding.
At the landsmeet I chose Alistair as future king and as a reward in the next scene he dumps me, because its his duty as king, to produce an heir and thats difficult for a Grey Warden, let alone two.
WTF?
Gladly I had saved before that fateful decision, replayed the landsmeet and told them, Alistair would be king with me at his side. Et voila! Everything fine, we got married half a year after the war.

The guy just WANTS to be steamrollered!

During the landmeet I had a choice to say

"I choose Alistair as a king and I will rule at his side" - or something similar.

I played as a Dalish elf rogue with maxed out persuasion (don't remember if it was persuasion sentence though).

But, I didn't plan for him to become king anyway, and promised Anora I'll make her queen instead.

And NO, even then you don't get "happy ever after" ending, because soon Alistair is sent away somewhere, and is waiting to be able to come home to "his beloved".

Was thinking of replaying the landsmeet forward witht he same char just so see if I get to be the queen.

And the part with Morrigan? This is what my elf got for being an " almost nice girl" and refusing to go get the massage from Zevran :( (almost good girl because she's been leaing Zevran on untill that point - even got Morrigan to mension 2 guys loving her when she was proposing her "idea")
