For a male Shepard, Alexx, in an ironic salute to a Silent Hill character that's also a military man named Shepard.

Amara-meaning is "lasting beauty" but no real reason for choosing it.
Kathy-intention was a renegade run so picked the name of the most insane person I knew.

My DudeShep is named Joshua. Primarily because that's my actual name, and on a second note, he's named after Joshua from the Bible. In this sense, he takes up reins as the "chosen one" after his mentor and predecessor (Moses/Anderson).
