Im in act two just finished the quets and cut scene at the mansion after bitter pill quest an though my rivaly is high its not maxed and because I emplyed the slave I got +15 friendship.
Do I need my rivaly maed in order to progress teh roamnce and if so can I do it without completely change the way I roleplay my character? Im dead set against slavers but am so far helping or at least being understanding to mages ( which is why I went down rivaly root with Fenris in act 1)
Any specific quests that I can do to max my rivaly if I need to?

I was also on the rivalry romance path with Fenris and by the time of the romance in act 2, it still wasn't maxed out but the romance carried out anyway, so you're fine =D.
Bring Fenris with you in the Night Terror quest for around a +15 rivalry
edit: though you will *need* to max it out by the end of the game if you are to continue supporting mages
