SO I already completed the On the Loose quest, and I'd like to finish The Lost Swords. I can't seem to get into the De Launcet mansion since the quest is finished. Is the sword in there now just inaccessible to me?

OK, I'm an idiot. I had to go there at night. But I got in and saw a hilarious scene where Nella is telling the de Launcet parents that she is pregnant. She wants to marry Emile and "be a lady." It was sort of hilarious.
