As soon I I complete the mission for the Herbalist in Kirkwall, I check my journal and ALL my current quests are gone. I have other things to do, like talk to Varric. I am still in ACT 1 and raise money to go on the expedition, but they are not showing up after I gave the herbalist what he wants. I reloaded a previous save and did it again, and the same thing happened. If someone can help me with this technical glitch I would appreciate it. I don't know what to do now since the current quest journal is empty of stuff. =[

Idk how to help bro. I loaded it the day I complained to Bioware's technical help and coincidentally enough, all my missions came back. It might be just luck, I really don't know what made it fix itself. If it keeps doing it, you'll have to revert to a previous save and NOT complete the Herbalist mission. =/
1-650-628-1001 from 10am-10pm EST everyday. call them and let them know. They won't have a solution really, but they will send it to their highest peeps to look at this problem.

Once you start the expedition it's essentially the end of act one, therefore any side-quests etc you've not done become unfinishable, which is why they don't show up any-more.

Sorry bro. My bad. I didn't see it where you said you were doing the Deep Roads Mission. Yes, the previous user who posted here is right. If you do the Deep Roads mission, you cannot do anything else in ACT 1. Word of advice for ACT 2 and thereafter....do all side missions and companion quests and rumors before the main quests. That's what I do. Then you know that you completed everything before you finish the act. Sorry again for misreading.

It actually fixed itself when I played the game a couple of hours later. It was definitely a glitch though. I've actually completed the game as a rogue and mage, and have done all of Act 1's side quests. I'm playing as a warrior now and the quests had disappeared from my journal before I went into the Deep Roads. Not just side quests but all active quests including the Main Quests. I suggest to the OP to just shut off the game and try reloading it again. If not, just use the quest map markers to complete the rest of your quests instead of the journal. That's what I ended up doing.
