A friend and I are hoping to run through the original campaign of the
second Neverwinter Nights together.  We are trying to find a way in
which we can add heads and skins to the module in order to play it
through with more customizable characters, as the original skins and
hairs are admittedly rather dull, boring and ugly.  This leads me to ask
a number of questions...

How can we add skins/hairs to the original module in a way which will allow us to access them on multiplayer?

In
having these better skins and heads during creation, is it possible to
not screw up existing heads on npc's throughout the game?

Might
you have any recommendations for hak packs or some such?  I plan on
being a female aasimar whereas my friend plans on being a female
tiefling.  Haks directly affecting those two but nobody else would be
the most appropriate, I figure.

Any help in doing this would be very much appreciated!

Go to nwvault.ign.com. Search for "heads". Scroll down to NWN2 Original Hak Paks. Download whatever you like.

You *might* be able to introduce them in-game by just dropping the head models in your local override folder. If not, you may have to attach them as a HAK to the modules you want to play, but if you edit OC modules, I believe you break the patch system. At this point though, it seems extremely unlikely that there will be any more patches of any kind.

Still, if you modify an original module, just make a backup copy first and then restore it when you're done playing. Minimal effort to preserve forward compatibility.

Just a suggestion.
