Does she say that only if you are a non-mage? Because I think I remember she doesn't when you are mage. Or I missed it in my mage playthrough.

She told me even when I was wasn't a mage.

But it is pretty curious on what it takes for a shapeshifter to turn into a dragon.

Shapeshifting is a specialization in magic.

But to turn into a dragon would probably require the kind of raw power that normal mages don't have.

You mean like ... um ... bloodmagic?

When you are on Sundermount if you pick the peaceful dialogue option after she gives you her "gift of words" she responds with that line.

Morrigan said a shapeshifter can become any animal with enough time and ability to study it. The problem with dragons is they tend to eat people though.

Maybe, but I think becoming a Dragon requires much higher raw power than Morrigan would currently have.

yeah, she says the same thing whether or not your a mage and choose the top option.

i would have hoped the mage would get "HAHAHAROFL, you're probably never going to a dragon"

She is the very old and very powerful Witch of the Wilds.
I wouldn't suggest attempting such a shapeshift until you've eaten nothing but wheaties and spinach for a couple hundred years.
I believe Morrign points out in Origins that she is neither blood mage, abomination, and possibly not human at all. /shrug

Wouldn't it be interesting if she actually IS a dragon, and she learned how to shapeshift into a human?

I am more interested in this:

When everything falls down, don't be afraid to take a leap.

What is she referring to?

That Hawke shouldn't run from his/her destiny? That he should bravely either side with the templars or mages and change the world forever?

That's atleast what I thought of. :?

She's referring to the fact that you should push that **** Sebastian over the edge before the little bugger attaches himself to your leg and parasites you to death.

Insert annoying NPC of your choice, your mileage may vary.

You'd think a dragon would be possible as the Warden was stronger than abominations and even Flemeth as a mage. You'd think that by the end of Awakenings or so he'd have obtained enough raw power to do it. Studying a dragon would be the real problem. The warden could study the dragon that is allegedly Andraste in the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest as it was tame if you poured blood on the ashes.

It'd be cool if the leveling system were more similar to a JRPG in that you can reach level 100 and get some ridiculous power ups in the higher levels. I'm talking like Final Fantasy X hitting the limit of damage after breaking the limit ridiculous. I'm not saying that it should normally be possible either. Maybe if you spent all your skill points and unlocked studying a dragon then you could transform into one or something like that as a goal (though the character would suck through most the game and it ultimately wouldn't be worth it until you're a dragon. The unlocks could be like dragons teeth, fire breath, etc; but you need to be a dragon to use and it's the last transformation. People would complain, but I like being able to choose to do something like that in a game (respecing like in Awakenings could actually make it worth it).

I'm a bit disappointed that Dragon Age II made few improvements and I personally like the JRPG leveling (even something more middle ground like Kingdom Hearts), so it'd possibly be nice to see in the future. I'd hope they'd wait as long as even 5 years or so before the next game so they can perfect Dragon Age while working on their other games. I just feel like they rushed this game a bit or spent too long on graphics.

I was all for Mage rights until I saw that every Templar I fought on the way to the Gallows was fighting a abomination and when Orsino resorted to blood magic for no apparent reason I changed my views. I now know that what the Templars do is good. Although I dont approve of Meredith's methods.

I played both ways and i think the developers dont want us content
and fuzzy at the end. Either ending is feeling wrong to me, and it leads according to the
ending to caos/near war/revolution.

I hope we get a third game were we can make thinks right again :)

I think Bioware tried hard to push you on the templar side for emotional reasons. Your mom died, Orsino turns into a harvester, many mages you meet are unstable and unrelieable, etc. Frankly took me a week to shake that off and see things clearer though. Siding with the mages is the 'good' ending.

She pretty much is the best troll ever... popping up, save someone important... leave.
$5 (I'm a poor college student!) says that she'll do the same thing for DA3... (I wouldn't want her not too...)
