Ok so I just got to the part of the game where Issabella runs off after
you give her the Qunari book. But OOPS! Our friendship isn't at 50%, so
looks like she's not comming back for act 3. I have an older save from
act 2 I can go back to.
What missions should I take her on to get friendship (not romance)
points (preferably later in ACT 2) ? HELP!!!

Did you give her the gift? Also, make sure to help her friend.. I also shamelessly flirted with her and that seemed to help but I can't be sure 
I really didn't use her much in my game so I had to make sure to maximize points when I spoke to her at the Hanged Man. The gift is key though. HTH
