Okay, was not sure if this would count as a spoiler so I put this here.

When you chose templar or reaver for that matter, does anyone in the game even recognize that you have chosen these paths?

At little bit of a loss with DA2 no one notices you flinging fire balls about, nor does even your sister acknowledge that you are using templar powers...

just something I am noticing.

I was given Templar armor by Meredith once when I became the Champion. I'm not sure if that's default for the warrior class or what.

She gives it to you if you side with her during the arguement between her and Orsino at the beginning of act 3.

Meredith gave you Templar armor? Please clarify.

Yeah it was quite strange one minute I'm  making blood slaves the next I have dialogue options condemning blood magic.

Game doesn't recognize if you're a blood mage, I doubt it cares if you're a reaver or a Templar.

I just saved Cullen's life with Anders, Bethany and Merrill in my party, went to talk to him in the gallows with the same 3, and nobody said a word (well, except Bethany, who makes repeated comments about talking to Templars being a bad idea).
