To add another point, why in a party based game are you forced to solo a difficult boss in the Aishok. They say that playing on hard or nightmare you have to play all 4 charecters effectively and then take 3 of them away. I despised that battle.

You aren't. Decline the duel and it turns into an all-in fight with everyone in the room.

I agree with 1, 5, 7, 13, and 14.

I love that Sandal is becoming a more important character. My theory is that Sandal is from Kal Sharok and that his abilities are clues into how Kal Sharok defended itself from the Darkspawn.

It makes sense that Merrill's home is larger than Gamlen's. Humans are the majority in Kirkwall, elves are only a minority. Getting a house in an area that is exclusively elf is probably a lot easier than getting a house in an area for humans. Not to mention that city elves seem to hold the dalish in high regard and Merrill was first to a keeper. Compare that to Gamlen, who is a failed noble and all around degenerate.

"15. Knockback cancelling orders.
Again, never really encountered this either."

Are you freaking kidding me?? It happens all the bloody time!! It is one of the most annoying things in the entire game.

Though I suppose you usually play by focusing on just one character most of the time, and let the (horrible) tactics system control the mages so you never notice it. But the game is way better when controlling everybody manually, at least in my opinion anyway.

But seriously, a spell like mind blast is supposed to be a panic button, but because of all the knockback the mage never uses it so you have to click it like crazy and hope the ****** just uses it already.

Even a simple order like telling them to move somewhere gets cancelled by the knockback.

Doesn't really work for me. Elves are supposed to be the absolute underclass. Merrill comments on how crowded and crime-ridden the place is. Theoretically, most of the elves in the city that aren't servants boarding with their masters live there. So someone who left her clan under extremely questionable circumstances gets a home big enough by slum standards to house 10? And retains use of it after she moves out?

At least they could have made up some story about how it belongs to someone from Marethari's clan or something.

Like I mentioned previously in the topic, it may have to do with the fact that I play on the PS3, I find that it al works very well, and I've never had a problem with that
