I found the story and especially the climax amazing, contrary to what alot of people have been saying. But I would like to know the other possible outcomes. I sided with the mages and orsino, had to kill him after he became a harvester and then fought and defeated meredith. I then had to flee and 'disapear into the hills'. But I really wanted to become the vicount. How can you do this? And what happens if you side with the templars. Anyone, feel free to discuss all possible outcomes and the story in general.

Anyone else think that Hawke might become a seeker too? It's their job to see that the templars don't abuse their powers. If Kirkwall is any indication then they have been doing a terrible job. Cassandra, Liliana, and Hawke. Best looking team ever!

That would be a cool idea, what about the Warden though?

I don't know about Hawke becoming a Seeker, just because he/she would have to join the Chantry, and at least some of us were mages. Pretty sure they don't let mages join the Chantry, at least not without becoming Tranquil first. That is what a lot of people had a problem with in DAII...it seemed to many as though the Templars (and by extension the Chantry itself) were being infiltrated by blood mages.

I must say, even though I sided with the mages (being one myself, I could do no less,) and I had to fight and kill an astonishing number of blood mages and abominations before I ever saw Meredith. I tried to be as moderate as I could be, even while having to choose sides. I wish the Revered Mother hadn't died in the destruction of the Chantry, because she would have done the most good for uniting and bringing peace to Kirkwall and the Free Marches. Anybody who is completely unwilling to reach a compromise or even to discuss things rationally was not working towards a positive, peaceful outcome. (Orsino, Anders, Meredith.)

I am very interested to see where Thedas goes from here. Maybe the Qunari will attack Orlais next? I did see a book about Orlais in one of the Tal Vashoth camps outside Kirkwall, and now that the Chantry is crumbling, Orlais is basically the epicenter of cultural excess and vice, in many ways. Without their religious superiority, Orlais is nothing but a pile of expensive clothes and perfume, social and political intrigue and sexual depravity. Definitely staying tuned.

I think that in DA3 Your party will consist of Hawke/warden fixed like they were in DAO/DA2 and who ever decides to join. the world its going to be like a huge world war between mages and templars and the countrys sideing with one or another but the qunarri are just gona be there to kill stuff. well thats what i think anyway i may be completey wrong

I don't see Hawke becoming a seeker, particularly if he sided with he mages. But I agree the seekers will likely play an important role in the future. And since the ending is more limited than origins (fewer variables) I hope we'll see more of Hawke in the next game. I grew super fond of him

Tbh I dont think we get a hawke and warden duo, my reason why? Here is an example:
My warden was a Dalish Elf and he came from the same clan as Merril (they know eachother) and Marethari, Hawke killed them. Even tho Gray Wardens have to stay neutral, I would not stay neutral as warden in this case...

I hope hawke comes back in something (DLC , Expansion or sequel) together with your romance companion <3 Isabela

I bet we play a Seeker in DA3, but we're another new character. We're looking for clues as to the whereabouts of the Warden and Hawke, and to help us, we have a group of companions comprised of various friends of both/either.

That's essentially the same as what I was hoping would be the third part of the KotOR trilogy (a 3rd Jedi tracking Revan and the Exile into unknown space). Sigh. Maybe this time it'll pan out, eh?

I really liked the ending of DA2. When I helped the Mages, it felt like I'd lost the war, but was being allowed to leave peacefully because Cullen knew the Templars under Meredith had taken things too far (also because I would have killed them all had they tried to stop me). But siding with the Templars made me feel more like the traditional victorious hero. Thought that was a nice touch.

I would like to see Hawke come back with Anders(my Hawke's LI every time) and an army from Tevinter to lead the mages in rebellion.

I felt the same way, i sided with the mages and befriended anders but when the chantry blew up I was so disappointed in him. I couldn't kill him but seriously thought about it and just told him to leave.

As for DA3 it could go a number of ways. I don't think we will be hawke or the warden because some peoples warden's died and we'll probably finish up hawke's story in dlc. But it does seem apparent that hawke and the warden will play a role in the future just like leliana and alister will. Im very excited to see where bioware takes the franchise from here!

Even if Anders dies, Justice wont and thanks to Anders I doubt that Justice would feel any remorse in possessing a templar.

Killing Anders ultimately serves little purpose.

Anders is Justice, Justice is Anders. Kill one, you kill both. They aren't seperate entities.

Does Leilana's dialog change any if your Warden romanced her in Origins?

I have to wonder about Justice, though. He's been so corrupted by spending time in his living host, that he's more like Vengeance now. If Anders is killed, does the JusticeVengeance spirit go back to the Fade, or is it possible that he could possess Anders' corpse? It's difficult to say, as Anders pointed out that he and Justice were so intertwined as to be inseparable.

Sorry if this should be in another thread. It only just occurred to me when I was reading Dave of Canada's post above.

No, go ahead. Any discussion about possible future outcomes would be great, And I think that in DA3 you being a seeker trying to find Hawke and The Warden would be a great and actually plausible idea. I think Justice would return to the fade, but he might be a spirit of vengeance...

You know, I wouldn't put it past Bioware to bring Anders back in DA3 as a possessed corpse JUST to mess with the fangirls. (And as one of those fangirls, I'd cry if they really did this.)

I mean, that's just...nightmare fuel. >_<

Eh, I liked the old Anders tbh. Awakening Anders was fun. The new Anders...not so much, no. I would rather like a chance to get the old one back, but I doubt it will happen. Bioware doesn't exactly have a history of happy endings. More than likely, if Anders shows up again at all, it will be a case of "Fangirls, be careful what you wish for..."

My Hawke killed Anders. Since he can die and by your hand in DA2, I doubt he will be back as anything more than a cameo if alive like Zevran in DA2.

Although, Leliana appearance was odd. I imported a save that I forgot to get her in DAO yet when she showed up with Sebastian's story, they said she worked with the Warden to stop the Blight. /shrug
