What the hell is the point in that? I mean, why can't we just be friends then, Seb? Or is something being misinterpreted by people?

But I'm going through another playthrough as a Chantry-humping Templar loving lover loving love Male Hawke. I think my opinion of Sebastian will probably change after that.

I have a Sebastian-y question; I'm not sure where else to post them:
If you go the rivalry route with Sebastian, does he still propose a "chaste" marriage? I know in rivalry you convince him to leave the Chantry to go rule Starkhaven, so the chaste thing doesn't seem to make as much sense in that context.

You = Awesome.
I like Sebastian as a companion...But if I could I'd give his LI status to Varric or even Aveline.

I liked Sebastian right up until the part where he threatened to go to war if I didn't kill Anders. Now I just want to stab Seb in the face with a spoon.
Even better, if you do go through with stabbing Anders, Sebastian says something to the effect of "That's a good start." Really, super awesome thing to say to your friend after you encouraged her to stab her lover in the back.
That wasn't a for keeps deal, though. The character let Anders live and ran off into the sunset with him, but that pretty much cemented my dislike for Sebastian. His preaching is generally annoying, and he's sort of a raging hypocrite who hires Hawke to exact vengeance on his family's killers and threatens vengeance on the city of Kirkwall for the actions of one man. As if it isn't bad enough that their Chantry was destroyed and a war broke out, again. No, no, tear the city down well after the true criminal is gone.
So, to the original topic, all I've got is that his voice sounds awesome in most cases. (Except right after the Chantry bombing. He sounds flat and kinda fake during the "Elthina, no!")

most interesting banter was Sebastion and Fenris debating who should call the templars on Anders, and Anders who is in my party chimes in. I love the three way banters, they are few and far between.

Wait wait wait...even if he marries you, he expects you to both remain "chaste"?

It's a chaste marriage, you're married together in the Chantry and you become a priestess. It's not a normal marriage.

i think he offers a political alliance, but this is just what i've seen other people type. friendship pushes him towards the chantry and rivalry pushes him towards ruling.

Every time I've done the love-scene for the first time (with whichever LI I happened to have chosen) I come downstairs afterwards and HE IS ALWAYS IN MY LIVING ROOM. Seriously. I suspect the poor boy is not handling the whole vow-of-chastity thing very well.

As for Anders, I make a point of killing him but there is no satisfaction in doing so - it feels more like putting a rabid animal down. I guess I am comparing it with the execution of Loghain, who stood straight and faced his end with some dignity.

Waitaminute, I thought a chaste marriage do include sex but only after the marriage ceremony? It is not the same as celibacy (no sex whatever).

it's not a "proposal" per say. He asks you to join the chantry WITH him, and serve the maker side by side.

What?
Archery? Lock-picking?
The Chantry loving, preaching, no-sex ever choir boy is a Rogue?
But....
I....
Nevermind. I'll go wash my hair now, and try to get this under one hat. Somehow.
Note: I don't have the DLC, nor will I get it any time soon, just to clarify my ignorance about Sebastian
