I find the friendship/rivalry requirements on romance annoying.  Rather than choose dialogue options based on how I want to roleplay, I have to choose dialogue options that will score me points with a companion so my character can get laid.    A mod that sets the friendship/rivaly values as you like would be great.

maybe internet pr0n would be more your speed? frankly, I find getting to the romance scenes a little too fast here... /shrug I should make a mod that slows down friend/rival points!!!

Friendship/rivalry values can easily be modified through console codes on the PC version.

runscript zz_app_debug opens an in-game interface, navigable via the dialogue wheel, that allows you to mess with each companion's approval rating.

Although it's bugged for Merrill. Although calling something in the dev console a "bug" may be missing the point... still. It doesn't work for her. But the GFF Editor allows you to edit anything, including companion friend/rival points. Be careful with it, though, as the game does not constantly check the values. It only updates them when something in-game would change them. So if you magically jump to full friendship, for example, you won't actually gain the benefit of it.

So I recommend setting them to 95 (or -95 for rival) instead of 100. Then simply gain the appropriate points in game to push it to 100, and everything works great.
