I say that Hawke will meet up with the Warden and the OGB and they will all team up and take on the universe. Or I could be wrong..?

I, for one, hope we're building towards the formation of the Avengers, Thedas-style. B)

So they end up finding the Master Chief as well because everyone knows his half of the Forward Unto Dawn went to another reality/dimension.Image IPB

I don't know. I think the rise to power has ended like someone had said before. But I would love a DLC to smooth things over. (mostly if you let Anders live and/or romanced him)

I have a theory that Flemeth will send Hawke after Morrigan for revenge and if you went through the Eluvian with her then Hawke and your Warden will have a epic showdown.

That's.. er... one of the better theories I've heard. Might be on to something there chum.

Pfft. The Warden would use Force Persuade (Coercian) to diffuse the situation. Then there would be much laughing over Dragons and Griffon stories.

Definitely not over. Just started, in fact. I suppose they could have Hawke essentially start the war then disappear, but I don't think that's very likely.

 After the DLC/Expansion? Yes.

They'll probably try to close up the story (by close up, I mean as much as they did with the Warden in WH...not much) his story to make way for a new character.

Personally, I'd love another DA game devoted to Hawke. I liked him a lot more than the Warden, and I'd really enjoy seeing his involvement in the resolution to the mage/templar crisis. So no, I don't think his story is over. At least, I think it has the potential to continue - which I hope it does.

I also much prefer Hawke to the Warden. Something about him just gelled with me. I've rarely felt so connected to an RPG protagonist.

Please let it be over.

I want a new Character.

Hawke just...completely lacks the charisma the Warden had.

The way Dragon Age 2 was presented, it really seems as if it's more of a beginning than a stand-alone story. Whereas in Dragon Age: Origins, the focus is on ending the Fifth Blight, in Dragon Age 2, it's the precursor to the magi rebellion against the Chantry.

For example, in DA:O you get an epilogue that gives your character closure (varying on what your character did), but in DA 2, there is no epilogue. If you think from a developer's standpoint, no epilogue means more freedom for them to create a more direct sequel.

I am pretty certain Hawke has another game coming to him since they set up a big war and how he could bring peace. I doubt if they'll have one person be involved in the beginning of a war and then change to someone else during it.

Even though there are plenty of questions left after the Warden's story finished, the main purpose for the character has ended. The Darkspawn threat was ended, but Hawke's main purpose isn't. After all, Varric was made to tell his story because the Chantry needs Hawke.

This! to me there was something about Hawke that i like better than The Warden, i liked Hawke's story more as well, it felt more personal and different to the we have to stop a great evil type story, i mean sure i liked playing as the warden but im over him now, if there ever was a showdown between these two i would choose Hawke over the warden anyday.....just my two cents

No. This game felt too much like an interlude.
But if Hawke comes back without his/her LI, I will be deeply saddened. (There is no way in heck my warrior Hawke would ever just leave Anders to his own devices ever again. Just saying.)

Ending was horrible.
There was no conclusion of any kind, unlike in DA:O

Not at all. Whether we will see more of Hawke in expansions or DA3 itself remains to see.

I really prefer Hawke over the Warden though, but I guess I'm pleased if I just get another voiced PC.

Yes. Things will conclude in an expansion, but there will be no Hawke sequel.

I certainly hope so!
(To clarify, I hope that Hawke's story is over.)

I'm sure there'll be DLC and possibly an expansion, but for DA3 I really want to be able to create my own character again, play an elf (Dalish!) or a dwarf, instead of being forced to play a character that someone else made for me.
