No - i think they made DA 2 for the sole purpose of those killing s/he's warden in DAO so you have another character to play, that and money or Varric could be telling lies all along, i for one hope you get too choose import save from either DAO or/and DA2 and play as the character you imported in DA 3

Wouldn't want to see another game about Hawke, but DLC's and perhaps a expansion.

I don't know if Hawke's story is over. I'm pretty sure there will at least be dlc and/or maybe an expansion. For some reason I can't shake the feeling that there may even be more than that.

No, Hawke's story isnt over( he has pretty much finished his raise to fortune/fame side, unless he falls form grace & has to rebuild, but that would be SO reptative & boring with the same character from DA2). But as to wheather he will return as a main playable character....i dunno. MAybe the Warden, the Champion & a couple other games with new characters, might culminate in a game with all 4 as a battle group in an epic finale sometime ? or just be subjects of debate as Bioware make 20 more games, lol.

No. The end of the game explicitly tells you that there will be DLC. Moreover the story is structured specifically to leave Hawke's story open for further development.

No, but when Hawke returns (because he/she will, probably) they better answer where my warden went. I like Hawke, but the end of the game made me wonder about my warden more than her.

I like Hawke far more than my Warden, so I hope she comes back Shepard style.

I hope not, I like Hawke more than the warden. If only because Hawke is an actually character rather than the barely acknowledged avatar for the player.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I just didn't like that personally.

I couldn't agree you more. You nailed it. When I played as Grey Warden without a voice it felt as if the other characters was talking for me or something since the grey warden was mute.

This. Though it seems like the ending was really abrupt. Almost like Assassin's Creed 1.

I prefer to consider DA2's ending to Assassin's Creed 2's ending.
Unsatisfying and left hanging specifically for sequels.

No, but I have a feeling Hawke will not be the centre of attention in DA3. Not with the way DA2 ended.

I felt Hawke's story was more concluded than the Warden's. I would still prefer a new hero for sequels, though. It seems to have worked pretty well, and you avoid canonization.

I don't know, but I surely HOPE it is over.
The world of DA holds too much to foucse just on 1 protagonist voer several games.
I want a different protagonist in every DA game!
(Except for Addons of course)
