I'd prefer for her to return as a cameo or even important NPC - but not a party member.
If DA 3 will have a new protagonist, I want new companions (somebody we know from previous games but who wasn't party member - Cullen or Cassandra, for example - would be fine, too).
Leliana - for protagonist or top party member in future DA

Leliana as a party member would be a bit odd, because she couldn't really say muchabout the whole stopping the fifth blight thing. Not more than she already says, anyway.

No thanks. Leliana lost all my respect in dragon age 2, I don't want to have to deal with her as a companion. Npc is enough.

As much as I like the character, no. The implication is that any semblance of a cohesive continuation from DAO will be utterly obliterated, using some very dubious retcons which were already present in DA2.

I have a feeling that we will meet Leliana in DAIII. My guess is that she will be involved to the destiny of the Chantry. One question will be that what if the Chantry and the Templars are unable to quell the Mage revolt. That would force them requesting assistance from secular rulers. The question is that will the secular rulers support Chantry or do they want to reform the Chantry so that every nation will have it´s own Chantry?

Yes, God yes. DA2 completely dropped the ball and we need to have characters that matter in the next game to drive whatever is going to happen. Its clear that Leliana being a lead seeker in the game that she's being made into a central character for the next game and that's a good thing because her character is established and can bring alot back to the series.
