I thought Aveline was hysterical. Granted, her humor is much more dry and subtle than someone like Oghren.

I'm happy to leave Oghren behind. Belches are boring.

Overall, I got a lot more laughs out of DA2 than I did Origins. I felt like the characters and their respective banters were more organically amusing rather than funny because they were written to be "The Comic Relief Character"; like they weren't trying so hard (like Oghren, ugh).

The atmosphere in my groups ranged from fairly light-hearted and sarcastic to downright tense and icy depending on who was with me, and I loved it. I was gadding about with a ragtag group of genuinely disparate personalities with their own hang-ups, friendships and rivalries that existed above and beyond their relationship to Hawke, and hearing those play out in the banter combinations was great fun. :)

Everyone is funny in their own unique way. Aveline's clumsy flirting. Isabela's scandalous comments. Varric's witty charm. Merrill's naive observations. Fenris's out of the blue jokes. Anders's gentle charm.

OP has no sense of humor. DLC won't help you.

Bring Varric + Fenris or Isabela + anyone (especially Aveline), they give some really funny banter.
But sadly none is as hilarious as Zevran (magical bosom *g*)

I thought putting Fenris, Merrill, and Anders in the same party was pretty hilarious. All they do is scream at eachother nonstop.

lololol

Staring using Varric and Isabela in your party... and my sense of humor was touched. You just want Alistair back don't you?
