I've been wondering if there's a bug when it comes to Mages and using the respec potion. There's three odd things I've been noticing in-game, and I'm curious if it's just me.
1) Spirit Bolt - The game keeps giving my Mage this spell. I have, at one point, picked this spell when focusing on a more single-target build for my mage. But even after respeccing and not picking the spell, it keeps showing up in my talent trees as a chosen (and usable) ability. Not that I mind that the game gives me an extra spell, it just seems... odd.
2) Hawke using spells he doesn't have - This is another thing I've noticed. After respeccing, my Hawke will generally use spells that he no longer has if I switch to one of my companions temporarily. After switching from a Primal build to an Elemental Build, Hawke somehow found a way to use both Tempest and Chain Lightning even though I no longer had any points in those spells.
3) Three specilization points. I thought two was the limit, but I ended up with three at the end of the game. I ended up just slapping a specialization point in each of the three trees to get the passive bonusses, but it felt... odd. And considering my Mage disapproves of Blood Magic, it felt wrong as well.
Has anyone else noticed something similar? Either with their Mage or another class? Or perhaps someone's noticed something else that's off about Mages? I'm fairly sure I keep ending up with more attribute points and talent points whenever I down a respec potion as well...
Mage talents - bugged?

There is a bug with the maker's sigh potion atm. on all classes.
It doesnt properly remove the spells after you load the game again, and thereby giving you extra ability points that you shouldn't have. some people end up having like 22 ability points and 6 specializations at level 11 or something.
There is a temporary way of avoiding it, until the patch arrives. but you must use this method from the very first makers sigh u drink. once u have the extra points bug, this method will not remove them (altho you can use the console commands for that)
here's the method to avoid it and still be able to respec. (but it must be used from the first potion you use - I played from an earlier save on my warrior because of this, started again from before he used it)
