Tempest has biggest damage and since squadmate have 100% accuracy it's a must for them.
Also it is great for CQC.
What's the point of the Tempest?

^While it's possible to put out more dps with the Shuriken, the Tempest's 50-round clip makes it a beast, esp. with ammo powers in CQC.
