This is a mature dicussion about this issue if you want to try and derail it with comments which essentially amount to "this topic is stupid" and "you people are stupid" then don't bother posting at all. The mods aren't stupid and it's clear that you are troll baiting and if your defense is it's unrelated and you just felt like quoting Einstein then you are spamming. 

And which part of this is the Fan Creations, Mods and Modding section do you not understand? This is clearly not a forum to discuss the morality, intentions and believes of the modders. It has everything to do with your personal preference, believes and world view.

This topic alone qualifies as spam.

p/s: People have already repeatedly say that, we dont care about skin color, we just want our fantasy world to look the way we want it to - WITHOUT a moral compass to tell us that it is not right. Not right to mod and use mods according to our personal preference?

Just because we use/make this mod and we are automatically labeled as being Shallow? Or even worse racist?

As for your comment you are contradicting yourself you say it doesn't matter what skintone they are and then you say people can't force themselves to be attracted. Clearly it either does or it doesn't matter to you but you haven't made your mind up lol...

Oh man, ok let me explain this as simple as possible, since you do not seem to get it. You like certain aethetic aspects, like it or not, that is fact. If someone does not bear those traits, you might be not attracted to them, simple as that. That is not a matter of skin color, there are many aspects to it, skin is but one of them.

So what it boils down to in the modding scene is the following:

"You dont like it, you change it." If one is not attracted to a character, he changes that.

You can certainly be attracted more to one person than another but to say an entire race is unnattractive to you because it does not have the racial features that you desire.. there is something wrong with that line of thinking imo. 

Certainly people are free to mod the game however they want to it's why one guy had the freedom to create a school shooting counter strike mod, it doesn't mean you shouldn't have a negative opinion of it or not dicuss these issues.

This is the modding section, it is obvious the dicussion of mods is on topic here as there are already many topics here which simply dicuss mods. Arguing over the semantics of it will not make this topic any less valid.

No I didnt say an entire "race" is unattractive to me because it does not bear a certain "racial" feature. I said if a PERSON does NOT cater to you taste, you propably arent attracted to them, thus you propably prefer something different and If you would have the choice you would pick someone that you feel attracted to.

Why do I have the feeling that if Isabella was white and someone modded her to be dark, you would not have a problem?

Hell, they had a mod in DA:O to turn Sten black. Where was the outrage then?

I think this one line pretty much contains all the logical fallacies in your diatribe here. First of all, you accept that human attraction is not equal opportunity, and that people can have their preferences. But then you go on to create this huge recursion strawman where anyone who likes white Isabela has labelled all coffee coloured individuals as undesirables. First of all no one is saying that second of all - who are you to deny someone the right to find anything unattractive/attractive? If you are straighter than straight and don't romance anders because you don't like his bisexuality then are you decrying all bisexuals as unattractive? Well yes you are in a way because you have decided that you are not attracted to them in a sexual way, yet this does not mean you are racist or sexist or sexual orientationalist. Hell, lets assume Bob is gay and he only has relationships with men. Under your ridiculous standard for egalitarianism, he would be consigning the entire female population to the preferential scrapheap - thus making him the world's worst misogynist... It simply doesn't work that way when it comes to human sexual attraction.

If we were hiring Isabela for a job and asked her to go 'mod' her skin at a nearby plastic surgery clinic before signing the deal then yes, you may very well have a case of racial discrimination - but we aren't are we? We are playing a video game where a lot of the value we take from companions is from their role as romantic targets. Certainly our ideas of sexuality and attraction will come into play - and no moralistic blather from the politically inept can simply disappear our finely tuned individual ideas of beauty.

I am sure others have made the same points I just did in over 6 pages, so I am really not sure why you are still here bashing your head against the wall and leaving unsightful bloodstains. Please just try and see some sense.

This is not a mature discussion of anything.
YOU started this topic by claiming the mod author is racist and continued on since by accusing everyone who doesn't agree with your premice as racist.
YOU started the name calling and expect people to happily accept it.

YOU can not prove any claim you have made but insist that everyone else must prove their inocence by your ever changing standards.
YOU have consistantly built strawmen to destroy, changed the point of the argument to avoid answering or dealing with obections from others.
You are not discussing anything, you are simply screeming your half-baked theories in peoples faces and then wondering why they don't give you some kind of humanitarian award for being so caring of others feelings, all the while demanding that no one have an opposing opinion.

It would be morally reprehensible, we do not need a Barbie for every race. However I see that situation as less discriminatory, its not saying the other barbies are better due to skin colour or that the first was imperfect so it had to be changed to be better, it political correctness going over the top where every minority would have to be represented to make it fair.
