So. Did I miss something or did we not, in fact, actually get to help him take his kingdom back or whatnot?

Choose to either avenge Sebastian's murdered family and reclaim his
title or direct his holy vengeance on your enemies in Kirkwall.

This made me think I could help him take his throne back. But mostly Jubilee just brought that up, he waffled on it and....nothing. I saw a quest marker on my "letter desk" from my post-campaign save but I have no quests at the time.

If you choose to develop a relationship along rivalry lines, you'll encourage him to take his kingdom back; if you go friendship, you'll encourage him to stick with the Chantry.

Whether this actually changes what he does is another matter, but this aspect is slightly misleading. The only active action you take to help him reclaim his kingdom is to help him shut down the conspiracy to take Starkhaven from the Vael family.

Meh, I killed Anders, lol. So I didn't get that dialogue.

Well that's disappointing. My mage didn't exactly have a lot of plans after leaving Kirkwall (she ended up alone) so taking Seb's kingdom back seemed like a good thing to distract her after killing both her buddy and her former lover, lol.

Well. The DLC description is a little misleading, then.
