I just recently got the game, and am now lvl 7 with my Human Noble Warrior. It stated I was now able to start choosing specializations (up to 2), but it wouldn't let me select any that were available. So I was just curious as to how I can do that? What requirements do I need to get them?
Also, I was curious as to what specs you think I should go with. Right now my Warrior is primarily split between strength and dexterity, with my secondary trait of constitution. I've specced almost solely into the dual-wielding tree, with a little in the warrior tree. I was thinking maybe the Beserker spec for my first, but I'm not sure about my second. Any help would be great!

You have to unlock the specializations in order to use them. Once you've unlocked a specialization it is available to all the characters of that type that you create. How you unlock them varies from books you buy, to companions who like you, to actions you take in game. The wiki or the spoiler forum has specific information on that.
Can't help with the Warrior question as I haven't played one yet.

I'm hesitant to go to the spoiler forums.... I don't want the story ruined for me lol. Guess I'll just have to explore for myself!

For your setup I would personally go with the Berserker specialization, though I have not played that one yet so cannot comment further.

If you let us know which specialization you would like to unlock, perhaps we can give you hints without giving you spoilers. At least you'll have a general idea of where to look.... (There's also a few specs you can buy from vendors, so no actual spoilers there, really)
I've actually just read your build, and yes, it seems Berserker would fit quite nicely and you can buy this one. Aren't you lucky? No spoilers here; simply head to Denerim and look for a Dwarven merchant. You should find the berserking tome in his inventory :]

If u want berserker, go to the dwarfs first, the PC u pick up there(Oghren) can teach u the spec for not to much favor.u get Champion free when u save the Arl of Redcliffe, Templar u can learn from alistair or a tome, and i suggest u take that one as the 2nd one, since u will be killing alot of magic users(one way or the other) Reaver can only be unlocked by helping the bad guys in the urn quest. that's all i'll say about it.
Also make sure u get the specs free for the other classes, since the others can get them also, just get enough favor with your companions to unlock most of them, and keep an eye out for tomes.

Thanks Xzenorath. That's all I wanted to know.
That helped greatly and isn't a spoiler! I will definitely head there next (I just finished the intial town... Lotherin or whatever it's called) What do you think my second spec should be? Or should I not even bother with a second?

Hey Takrando, thanks for the info. So you think Templar is a good second spec? Sounds like it would be, as mages are the bane of my existance... They always kick my butt and because of that they are always my first target with my entire party. Because if they stay alive I'm dead in less than 30 seconds...

The second depends on what your conceptual idea lies around. If you want a berserking dual wielding character... going with templar as a secondary spec may seem... awkward. Champion or Reaver may fit better, again, depending on your concept. If you only care about the gameplay aspects, then yes, the Templar is easily unlockable through merchant or Allistair and you'll struggle much less versus mages.

Lol. Yes, a beserking Templar doesn't sound the most.... elegant. But I'm just thinking what works best for my character, not necessarily what flows the best conceptually. I'll give it some more thought. Once I get Beserker I'll see how it plays out before I choose my second spec.

I had my first toon rush through just to acquire all the sub-classes, then rerolled for my 2 intended toons: Spirit Healer/Shapeshifter and Assassin/Duelist.
