Spoilers obviously.

I romanced Merril in act 2 after refusing to had over the elven artifact she needed to repair the mirror. This puts rivalry at full but had the side effect that you can have a romance with her after some mending words. After this I went into act 3. Act 3 however starts with Merril being upset about someone, who apparantly died. Merril destroys her mirror straight after. This was odd as I didn't see anyone die in act 2. Later in act 3 Merril wants to restore the mirror (it's still in shambles after she destroyed it aka no glass) and we go to the keeper (who is still there). Here again talk of someone who got killed. Now she wants to go get some demon to help her fix the mirror. The relationship is still in full swing, being comented on by Merril and others.

I'm kind a at a loss what happend. Did I miss something? Who died? Did he suppose to die even if you don't make the mirror? I heard there was a bug, but so far it does not compare to my situation as the keeper and clan are alive and Merril didnt seem to mean her clan.

The conversation at the beginning of Act III isn't supposed to happen until later. It's a bug.

Tamlen, this was someone you get to meet if your warden was dalish in DA2. however, even if your warden isn't dalish, the events of that origins still take place and tamlen + mahareil still die.

Mahariel doesn't necessarily die.

If i'm understanding you right, I think what she's referring to is the Dalish Origin in DA:O, when the mirror is first found. One of the clan, Tamlen, disappeared into the mirror and is presumed dead, while the Dalish Warden and i believe at least one other were Tainted by it. The Dalish Warden only survives because Ducan takes him/her to Ostagar to undergo the Joining.

Recalling the strange conversation I had with her in Act 2, when she said Marethari was gone. I only realised this was a bug later in Act 3 when Merrill had to kill Marethari. I almost cried.. :'[
Then we massacred the Clan (meh, didnt like them).

Is Bioware going to be fixing this? I'm disappointed because this kind of thing shouldnt show up in a full release.
