It's probably not possible without access to a toolset - but the fact that he stays in that mansion, corpses and all is just...wrong.

apparently it was dry enough to mummify them instead of them rotting away...but still

then again, who knows...maybe the gloomy filth of the place is to Fenris' liking

Heh yeah, I want it too. Sadly Bioware is known in it's lazyness. I mean, look at DAO, Tower of Magi - even a long time after you cleared it out of abominations and such the tower remained just as messy as it ever was. And then they have children there, happily running around, stumbling on corpses of friends, teachers, fellows... And that's all fine to Bioware. You know, ironically when Fenris moved into that mansion and I saw it being such a mess, I said to myself "I bet Bioware is as lazy as ever and Fenris will live among the rubble and decaying corpses for years to come". And guess what? He does! Bioware does it again. Or rather, doesn't do anything again...

So anyhoo, if someone could make a clean mansion, or at least remove debris, corpses, cobwebs, trash and such after the mansion is taken from Danarius then it would be great. And if there's same mod for DAO, Magi Tower, please point me to it :)

In the Dragon Age universe people enjoy taking corpses to the taxidermist and getting them stuffed and then putting them back in the exact same position.

Expensive, but I bet their haunted houses at Halloween are a real hoot!  :D

Sorry for the earlier detour.. But I agree, Fenris is a slovenly rascal, really dude, clean the place up. Maybe even fix the floor tile, just anything will help. But.. the bodies are gone if they are looted.

Creepy but....

I'm pretty sure some unlootable bodies remain, like, you walk in the front door and there's a corpse as fresh as the day the person was killed! Come on, this isn't the Dry Steppes (where nothing apparently rots). Glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed it, good point about the mage tower too.

I can deal with cobwebs and broken furniture, but it's the bodies...

If you think that's odd.... try Fallout sometime. Your NPC companions will happily climb into bed and take a nap, next to a corpse.  Post Apocalyptic Horror indeed.

Clearly Fenris is sad and deranged and should be given back to Danarius asap before he hurts himself.

Haha, yes.   I must confess to actually having my pc nap with a skeleton in FO3 (on probably more than one occassion) just because I was desperate for health replenishment.  I think you could move the corpses, but I could never remember how to.  I could kind of deal with that though, you know, they were massively injured, probably radiated to their eyeballs and had just been bludgeoned by a super mutant so they weren't thinking straight.  That's what I tell myself.

Fenris, on the other hand, doesn't really have that excuse.  Although some trauma counselling definately wouldn't go amiss (though knowing Fenris he'd probably perform his 'magic fisting' act...as Isabela would put it) and it'd just be another perfectly preserved corpse on the floor of his mansion.

I just wish that those places would get more reasonable look at some point. I don't expect Fenris to just fix the estate to pristine state, he doesn't own the place and he knows it, it's just a place he sits and waits for his master to return so that he could then finish his business. So yeah, having holes in ceiling and such is fine. But I seriously doubt that Fenris would like to sit among corpses for like what, three or four years? Not only would it be pretty bad to look at, it would also smell like hell and definitely isn't good when it comes to health of the inhabitant either.

So yeah, these corpses should really go away over time at the very least (also from any other location or the game, come on Bioware) for it to make sense. Three to four years old corpses would really really stink.

I think he is a cannibal after staying with that tribe he encountered after breaking free from slavery, maybe he keeps them around in case he is peckish, after all he cant afford to buy food, he gave you his last coin, and ever since you have kept hold of any coin looted from the various people your group has viciously murdered.

But how else will Fenris keep the Guard from dragging him out, and keep the tax collectors away?

I want a mod that moves a romanced Fenris in with Hawke. But I'd settle for his mansion looking a bit more.. lived in. As in someone still alive is there.

I hold to the theory that the corpses are Fenris' interior decorating choice; handy for keeping out tax collectors, other squatters, and sundry other undesirables. When the current batch of bodies gets too ripe, he throws them out and replaces them.

Like cut flowers! Cold, fleshy, cut flowers.

I mean, it's not like he doesn't have frequent access to any number of recent corpses. All he has to do is step outside his door at night and he'll have volunteers by the dozen.
