I had this in origins, would I be able to try the dao tweak in da2's override?
Otherwise, I want varric to actually open the chest when my warrior clicks on it, not just say
he can open it.

I find it very annoying that they say they can open it, but don't go ahead and do it.

On top of the lack of a bash/knock spell alternate, it gets really annoying.

that's probably the same problem as with most things...it's hard to do without a toolset. I guess you could try putting the dao mod into da2 but I don't think it will work. if you try it, please tell us, if it worked

It probably won't work because the file extensions are different and the dao tweak may specify leliana or zehvran. But I'll give it a try tonight, that's in about 9 hours for me.
