I don't know if it's intentional or not but every time I hear Isabela call Aveline man-hands I can't help but giggle and think of Glee.

or seinfeld? with the lobster claws and the twisting the cap of a non-twist off beer

Never watched Seinfeld, Glee only popped into my head because Rachel gets called that many times.

There is actually a Seinfeld reference in the game, with Carver and Varric banter.

Carver: "Varric."
Varric: "Carver."

They are Newman and Jerry if I'm not mistaken ;)

Or, equally likely....

Shepard: Wrex.
Wrex: Shepard.

Haha, I'm ashamed of myself for not noticing that ;)

@Elvalia - I love the pie references!

@speedy - Oh, that's funny! I don't watch Glee, so didn't make the connection.

@JediHealer - Never watched Seinfeld either (don't watch much TV, obviously LOL) but that's funny!

@Ninalupa - I didn't catch that! That's great!

Was the "speed griffon" hanged man dialogue supposed to be refering to something?

@Silver - I might possible be a reference to the Grey Warden griffins of old. Not sure though, but that would make sense. :)

Pretty sure the "Speed Griffon" thing can be lumped in with a few of Isabella's comments about "friend fiction"

both being references to the fan-fiction community.

@Avissel - That could very well be true, too!

It's been a while since I read the earlier pages of the thread, don't recall if this was mentioned...

After Hawke's mother dies, Aveline can talk about her father. You find out that his last name is Du Lac, which is Sir Lancelot's name in the King Arthur legends. Just another Aveline tie to a legendary knight.

@tddobbs - Oh wow! You're the first to mention that and this is awesome! I had no idea!

That is really cool. The only dialogue options I had with her after Mother dies are telling her I don't want to hear about her father, so I never knew.

It's bugged, but the trick to getting it is to have Aveline in your active party when you go to talk to her.  For whatever reason, that will make the option to say "Yes" appear.

@typing - ROFL! I haven't heard that one. I love it! Hopefully I'll get to hear the next time I play since I'm going to try my best to keep Isabela into Act 3. So far, I haven't managed to do that... she just never likes my Hawke's well enough to stick around. LOL

I also have hard time keeping Isabela thanks to that bug. She is a bigger challange than game itself. As I wanted to romance her and also keep her at least one time in party I set her 100% rivalry with save game editor. Until they fix the bug this is the easiest solution I find for her so far.

Isabela and Zevran dialog is too fun.

If you bring Isabela during his quest you can ask Isabela's opinion about what to do with Zevran (i.e like letting him go or kill him) :

Not word to word but close enough to give you an idea I hope (Of course I flirted with Zevran shamelessly again);

Hawke: What do you say Isabela, you know him
Isabela: I've had better
Hawke: I'm not asking about that.

If you decide to go 3some with Zevran, Isabela and Hawke, Fenris' tells to Merrill:
- Are you sure he was in assasin's guild? (something similar if my memory serves)

In all DA:O characters I think Zevran's cameo is the best/most funny one.

@Leggy - Thank you for the info on the buggy Aveline. Will make sure to have her in my party when I go visit her after mother from now on.

@Asperius - I do want to see the Zevran and Izzy interaction. And I really do like his cameo except for his look and the bugs where he doesn't properly acknowledge romances (even with the import fix mod). Not sure it's my favorite, that just might have to go to Drunkistair because of the hope Act 2 brings, but Zevran's cameo is certainly the best one after that. :)

Phew! This thread went too deep.

Okay this one is not a real easter egg but I find this when Isabela is in my party during apostate hunt quest on act 3.

When you go to Hanged Man to talk Emile de Launcet, if Isabela is in party you get an option to tell her kiss the guy. Then he says something about wanting to have more than kiss before going back to templars and got a night arranged with a girl named Nilla. (hmm maybe this is not about Isabela and her aphrodisiac effect. Just try to take him to templars. )

Before you taking back to templars he did that thing with Nilla and surrenders. If you later go into Launcet Mansion in hightown (which is still accessable) you can see Nilla talking with Emile's parents about being pregnant and asking for a money/place in Mansion.

@Asperius - I had NO idea that would happen with Nilla. I'm going to have to check that out on my next playthrough!

DID NOT know that! I do have a game where I let him sleep with the woman, but it did not occur to me that I could go back to the mansion. Loading up the save now!

Edit: Ah ha, I see how I missed it. Accessible via night time only. The banter was worth checking out. Thanks.
