Hmm I read this thread while it was several pages shorter but didn't see it here so here is my two cents:

- The dalish girl you met on wounded coast (if you sided with elves on Nature of the beast) is daughter of Danyla, Anthras' wife you tried to find in forest.

- Both Morrigan and Flemeth use same phrase on their first apppereance: "Well, well, what have we here"

Here's a new one-

At the beginning of Act 2, you get a letter from Old Barlin, complaining about spiders and how he's not allowed to cover his farm with poisonous traps.

And then there's the super-obvious-but-still-worth-noting-for-people-who-didn't-make-him-king (gasp) moment meeting Alastair, when he responds to Teagan's comment about the Orlesians swooping down on them: "That's right. Swoooooping *smirk* is bad."

@Statisfaction - Yeah, I've seen that piece of junk. There's a lot of Origins related Junk to be found in DA2. I love it all!

@Asperius - I *think* I "knew" about the elf, but had forgotten until you mentioned it. Thanks for the reminder! And, I'm very glad you've enjoyed this thread! *grin*

@CLime - Yes! I love that letter and the other one Leandra gets from Miriam (the elder you can help with health pots).

Loved the swooping!

To add to that, did anyone but me in the beginning smile when Cassandra was saying to Varric that Flemeth just swooped down to save them?  Even then right after intro I was thinking "Swooping is bad!"

@LadyBri - I never paid attention, but you can bet I will next time! And the whole Alistair "swooping" thing was a riot. I follow SV on Twitter and I remember when he announced he'd done some VO work for DA2 he commented that "swooping is bad". At the time, I just thought he was referencing that wonderful line from Origins and was actually a little shocked that he'd remember it after so long. Needless to say I was squealing with delight when I heard Alistair say that in DA2. And, he says it both as king and drunk. Don't know about the Warden yet... haven't imported a Warden Alistair save but that's next on my list.

Dunno which ones have been mentioned yet, but here goes:

You can help out Sketch, which was the mage that rolled with Leliana during the events of Leliana's Song. He even references it and somewhat breaks the 4th wall: "Take my advice friend: stay away from Storytellers, never know what they'll say..."

The pantaloons you find in the deep roads, Norah will comment that they glow blue when Darkspawn approach. Obvious reference to 'Sting' from LOTR.

Drunk Patron in the Hanged Man: 'Varric told him you are from Fereldan and that you escaped the Blight on the back of a Giant Turtle.' A reference to Pirates of the Carribean.

Also, one of the quests is "Wayward Son", an obvious reference to the Kansas song.

Alistair told us when visiting Wonders of Thedas, that Eamon bought him a golem doll from there, and he ponders whether they still have any.

In DA2, sarcastic Hawke suggests Martin to take on golem doll trading, saying there's a big demand for them. (I'm not sure if it's sarcastic Hawke specific response, though I've only gotten it once.)

Don't know if it's been pointed out yet. When Merrill asks Anders about Ser Pounce-A-Lot being knighted. She asks;

"Did he have a little sword, or just his claws? I bet he had a dashing cap with a feather in it!"

Could be a Puss In Boots reference.

There is a dwarf by the name of GAVORN who tries to TRICK you several times into giving him more and more money. How is that not obvious?

Never played ME2? There is a turian in Omega called Gavorn who watches over the vorcha and one of them tells you that they know "his/Gavorn'/s tricks"
There you go, but the quality is bad.

Useless fact- Captain Gavorn in ME is voiced by Fenris' VA, Gideon Emery. Even if I didn't like Turians, he's worth chatting up just for this.
