@Ambeth - That is so cool! I have yet to play a m!Hawke, but I'll be sure to listen to that when I do!
@Rage - I would have never thought of those references but you're right! On all counts!! And the reference to dogs playing cards is priceless!
@typingmonkey - Where/when do you hear that? I've got to listen for it next time!

Not sure if someone has said this already, but in Act 3 in the Disused Passage I ran into the merchant Bonny Lem, from Leliana's Song.
He's there in all three acts.

Also I don't know it is posted here but on another thread someone posted a tavern talk about "Queen Anora and King Cousland and his elven mistress (Zevran)". I really need to play another DA:O run with Cousland boy and mistress Zevran just to hear that. It is priceless.

@Asperius - Yes, I think it's cool about Zev and Isabela, too. Though I know those doing Zev romances in Origins are a little upset because the romance dialog isn't triggering right. I didn't know about the King Cousland thing. I've never done a male Warden run completely, but now you're going to tempt me to try that out! Thanks for sharing!

If you go to the Blooming Rose and choose the "Surprise me!" option, Hawke will be told the ending of a film; like, "-and he was dead the whole time!" or "-Rosebud was his sled!" Those are the one I got, at least. There may be more, but I'm too tired to go through them all.
Ahahaha, priceless

Also, if you click on Fenris when he's romanced, he says "I am yours", just like Zevran did.

"Ugh! Was is in this? Was that... Nightshade?"
Now, the idea that a poisonous plant was used to make a healing potion is funny enough... but it goes to a whole other level when you realise that "nightshade" is accually a family of several kinds of plants, including... Tomatos

Ahahaha, pricelessAlthough I've never got the "surprise me" -option
There is also a "Naughty boy/girl" (or maybe just girl, I've only had it shown up with a FemHawke) option... where you get a sermon from a Chantry sister

With a Dalish Warden import, Merrill will ask Anders in a party banter if he ever met him/her. Sadly, my import did the US, so all he said was a round-about way of saying no. Don't know what he says if Mahariel lived and did Awakening.
Also, if you click on Fenris when he's romanced, he says "I am yours", just like Zevran did.
Merrill: Did you meet a Dalish Warden? Mahariel?
Anders: No. I have a friend who did though. Told the most impossible stories.
Oghren!
If the Dalish Warden lives and did Awakening, Anders says he met them, Merrill says something about the Warden was part of her clan and that she'd hoped to hear news about him and Anders tells her not to get her hopes up because the Warden values his/her privacy.

Oghren!Which brings up hilarious mental images of a drunk Oghren sitting around telling stories about the Warden while the Awakening companions listen and the Orlesian WC grooms his moustache or something.

Ah! Thanks. Yeah, the Warden values privacy so much that s/he disappears off the face of Thedas every so often
For some reason it didn't occur to me that the friend was Oghren! I love the idea of him telling the other Awakening Wardens stories about it. And the Orlesian with a moustache (maybe it was Stroud in disguise!)

@Foefaller - Too funny! I haven't heard either of those.
@LT - That's great! My first DA2 run was with a Dalish import, but my Warden was alive. Neat to see the convo changes for a dead Dalish.

One of my favourites is Isabela and Anders discussing abominations: (cut down to the important bit)
- Isabela: I’m more likely to be shanked in a bar than eaten by an abomination. You can hear those coming a mile away.
- Isabela: "Grr. Argh!" "Oh, is that an abomination coming to eat us? We should get out of here!"
- Anders: Abominations don't go, "Grr. Argh."
- Isabela: They don't? I should rethink the whole thing, then.
(Apart from that one episode where he says "I need a hug" D'aww)
And possibly a tenuous one, but anyone else think "The Long Road" could be a nod to "The Long Walk" in the biotic bubble at the end of ME2? (the soundtrack to that part is called the Long Walk)?

When Varric unlocks a chest he'll sometimes say "Easy as pie"
It could also refer to Imoen (also Baldur's Gate), I remember her saying that - quite a lot!
There is also a pie reference with Anders when you take him to Amaranthine and click on a tree in DAA. Then we have Varric talking of more pies.
