Hi there guys and gals. I need help, else I can't continue my gameplay so I can play DA 2 :(.

Okay it is this simple actually.

We
can all agree that we should import the same save when you go through
Origins > Awakening > Golem > Witch Hunt. Right? Great.

Well
when you import your save from Origins to Awakening you take your save
from the "Epilogue" save right? Since you have already defeated The
Archdemon and so forth. Well in "my" Awakening there is no "Epilogue" or
anything like that, I just got the story of what happened after I
defeated The Mother and such and then it went to credits. And the only
safe file I have that is "usable" is right BEFORE I'm about to attack
The Mother. What did you guys do in that situation? I mean did you just
import that safe file anyway and did Golem and then Witch Hunt? Please
help I want to play Dragon Age 2! :)

Sincerely Mikkel Jensen.

Actually I would like some clarification on this as well. I'm currently about to import from Golems to Witch Hunt and trying to figure out how DA2 or any future games will know I beat mother and Harvester.

Origins creates a save called "Post Campaign Save - Epilogue" because, technically, you make some decisions after the final battle... you're boon from the King/Queen and various little bits of chit-chat with the companions. However, for both Awakening and Golems of Amgarrak, there is no such post-final-battle decision making (killing the final boss is assumed... you can't finish the game otherwise). So you should load the last "Autosave" before the final battle.

For Witch Hunt, there will be a final Autosave called "Autosave - The Nest (#)" with the number depending on how many autosaves you have already. You can confirm it's the correct one by loading it, it should go right to the Witch Hunt credits.

Having just played DA2, I can confirm that using the above autosave from Witch Hunt works, with some exceptions that should be addressed in the next patch for DA2.

Cheers,

RI

i used the witch hunt auto save but I don't see any flags that show witch hunt is being counted in the save. only origins and awakening.
