Hello there,

I've been looking and I see no option to use a joypad as my control interface in the PC version of DA2. but maybe I'm missing something?  I've also looked to see if anyone else has reported this, but cannot find your forum's search function.

The delicious irony is that for years I've been saying that joypads are a horrible and fundamentally broken interface mechanism for a lot of games (FPS' in particular) but now that Dragon Age has gone from being an RPG to a "hack 'n' slash" action-adventure game, a controller is definitely my preferred control mechanism.

This game will not get played if I have to use a mouse and keyboard, it's far too clunky and awkward a control interface for this sort of game and having had zero interest in the first game as such things are not my cup of tea, I was really looking forward to getting stuck into this having played it at a couple of EA press events.

If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

Dragon Age II is nowhere near a "hack 'n' slash action adventure game", and you'd be best off playing it with mouse and keyboard.
