For all the NPCs that didn't make it to DA 2, I missed him and Herren the most. They're so cute together.

I miss their old married couple banter. Would it hurt to bring them back in future installments? Acquiring armor just isn't the same without them.

Here here. I missed those two.
I can see why, with the vastly diminished capacity to enjoy and play with armour upgrades in DA2, they wouldn't have fitted in though

I like them too, but I'm glad they didn't show up.
With Bodahn and Sandal already there (not to mention numerous other DA:O returnees), it would have been too much. Not every NPC needs to be recycled to all games in the series, it only leads to the immersion killing "small world" syndrome.
