The critic reviews on Metacritic for xbox are at 80! It will soon drop into the 70's if any other bad reviews spring up for it! I'm wondering, is Bioware proud of this title?! Oh maker, poor Bioware...

I think it's a sad day for BioWare. Dragon Age 2 has a lot of wasted potential courtesy of their cutting corners. There's a great game there wanting to get out.

There's only two development groups I will ever feel sorry for. Sonic Team, for being shackled to a franchise they have no love for, and WayForward, for almost never getting the recognition they deserve for their awesome games.

So no, I don't feel all that bad for Bioware just because one of their games didn't go over well* with the critics.

*Relatively speaking.

I would fire the EA manager who told them to rush the game out. the fanbase was dying for an epic return to dragon age  and they blew it

Seems like a good score. Not the best but hardly the worst.

Well no crap! But we're talking about Bioware here?! I wouldn't mind if it was a lowly publishers first effort, but Bioware has standards, which is why I think DA2 is one of the biggest disappointments of all time.

This. And it really was the cutting corners while rushing it out the door. Its a real shame and I hope the same thing doesnt happen to Me3. It would really suck to end that series with another Da2.

I'm sure they'll be fine without your pity. They've got some backbone.

I'm honestly surprised. Considering the niche market they once catered to, it's strange that they never dropped below eighty in the eyes of the mainstream media.

Hopefully we'll see some improvement come the sequel.

Games aren't hammered in reviews for being niche or demon's souls would have been hit hard. It's if they're a great game or not.

It's a wake-up call. Hopefully they'll listen to the feedback from the fans and make DA3 better.

That's what they get for doing a half-arsed job.

Nothing more than they deserve. They tried to reach a wider audience but they failed.

Go back to the basics in DA:O and add the few goods things from DA2. They changed to much, and some of the best stuff in DA:O was removed.

They'll listen to the sound of coins. If that's not coming, then its a wake up call.

You mean the feedback that runs the entire spectrum from good to bad? Or just the feedback you happen to agree with?

So if that comes of snarky but I walways wonder who these "fans" are that have the perfect feedback that will undoubtly improve the next installment.

I loved Dragon Age Origins, I liked Awakening and Dragon Age 2 felt like let down.

What is really annoying to me is that Biowares other game Star Wars the Old Republic was announced in 2008 since that time we have seen all the Dragon Age games released and it makes it feel like EA or BW considered the Dragon Age series almost a poor releation which get rushed out to make some money from the fans.

The magic of Origins just seems gone, even Witch Hunt was a disappointment for many with no questions answered so I hope Bioware can do something to pull it back to the great game that was DA:O.
