Wow this is excellent info, thanks for posting!

How did you figure all this out?

Technically? I have extracted the creature type gda tables from 2da.rim with GFF editor. Then I discovered Prima Guide already has this information, albeit in a different format :) I consulted it post factum to make sure I read the attributes right, made some corrections, and shamelessly adopted most of the effect names they use (the others were left as is: I still think my Pinning Shot/Tar Bomb is a much more precise definition than that vague Immobilize they use). I also happen to think my creature type taxonomy is more in line with the actual in-game mechanics.

Is petrify a specific effect? If yes, does that mean absolutely no enemy is immune to petrify?

It's probably in the same category as Pinning Shot/Tar Bomb, but I may be wrong. Test it, for God's sake! ;)

Can you please double-check and report the results here? I cannot change the table based on 'pretty sure' alone, sorry.

Not sure the difficulty level but it worked for this individual:
mage vs arishok

Proof provided. Removed Paralysis from the Arishok's immunities.

By 'slow', you mean Shackling Hex & slowing effect of Ice spells, I presume? Does it also include Gravitic Ring? Or the slowing effect of melee weapons?

Yes, slowing effect of poisons and weapons included. Not sure about Force Mage talents.

According to the wiki and the game, it is stun.

I
can't vouche which creatures until I run the game specifically making
note of it, but I do know that some creatures are indeed immune to
petrify's movement robbing. (Also, I'm playing on hard, so some targets that have immunity on NM might not have immunity versus stun against me)

Same as with petrify, I can't say exactly which creatures are uneffected by Gravitic Ring. However, I have noticed that there are a few here and there who are uneffected by gravitic ring. The one creature I can say for sure was uneffected by it was the High Dragon (who is immune to slow).

^ That makes sense. It vexes me that a lot of Mage spells have Grenade replacements (Tar Bomb, Combustion Grenade, etc.) which further weakens an already disadvantaged class.

I have been able to Petrify and even BRITTLE most bosses (usually takes 2-3 times casting Petrify to make them BRITTLE)

The only one that I don't recall being able to Petrify was the Ancient Rock Wraith.

Yes, Petrify is one of the most useful spells in this game, no doubt.

Is it worth noting immunities to cross class combo effects? The Ancient Rock Wraith springs to mind.

 Thanks for the great info.

Is there an existing list of elemental vulnerabilities/immunities?
