Nobody else has a worthy opinion, and even though the overwhelming response on this list is that Morrigan is streets ahead of any other DA character, the fact you personally don't like her means that we are all wrong - right? Accept that you disagree with the majority and that is fine, but don't try to claim the majority is wrong.

1) Morrigan - a classic vile woman-sorceress archetype from antique times. With that grain of "wild woman running with wolves" to make her adorable.
2) Wynne - a mirror of Morrigan, a classic old, wise, "white" (Wynne -> Gwehn) enchantress.
3) Loghain - yet another classic character of Shakespear court.
4) Sten - refreshingly stubborn fellow which has close to Dak'kon dialogues.
5) Oghren - well my good 'ol friend Oghren! In Awakening he gets more of personal story to rise above simple comic relief character.

I don't understand the appeal for Morrigan's character either. Perhaps people find her childish behavior endearing?

Personally I would have wanted to see the cynical Flemeth on top, but I guess her role in DA is just too small for this questionable honor.
Though, I'm still trying to figure out whether she's just mad, or incredibly wise. Whatever the case may be, she's definitely intrigueing.

Wynne is 6th just because she was so much fun in a wrinkled old package.  Shale, I always thought, was the most fun party member for versatility as well as being the most interesting for various reasons.  Bethany made it on the list because unlike most of the DA2 cast she was actually relateable and fun.  And the fact that she was one of the few characters I actually gave a crud about didn't hurt.  Though in time I'm sure I'll forget about her too.  It's so sad to know that the DA2 companions are so forgetable.
