If your character in the game looks like Varric (by switching your character's ID with Varric's through GFF editor), then it's not a bug. Or at least I don't think it is. It's been like that for a long time, I've heard.

Well I'm playing the 360 version. And imo at least, my Hawke doesn't look like Varric whatsoever. I don't even see how that wire would cross(metaphorically) because it's not that my icon looks like Varric, it is Varric.Shasow wrote...

I've been looking up information on this glitch and it's kind of reassuring to know I'm not the only person that has this sort of issue.
