I'm not able to save my game from the menu.  "Save" and "Load"  appear in the menu but are grayed out and nothing happens when I click on them. This has made the game unplayable beyond a single game seesion, since if I exit the game (or even just return to the main menu) I lose all my progress.  Please help.  Thanks in advance

Have you attempted running a Permissions Repair? Maybe the program thinks you don't have read/write access to the Dragon Age II directory within ~/Library/Application Support/. To save time you might want to check the ownership of that directory (using Cmd-i).

Thanks for the help, but the patch seems to have fixed it.
