And the worst part is that...the game is full of clipping, graphical glitches and bugs. But it wasn't rushed...right? Riiiiight?

Will agree to this. QA must have gotten sloppy for very obvious bugs that players noticed only a couple of minutes after starting the game to have been missed.
Like the shield glitch, I noticed that within minutes. It is considerably sad if no one who is getting paid to do so caught on. I'm disagree that there is any excuse, no matter how much a team would make them, that excuses software bugs like that that should have been very obvious.

Didn't bioware say before the game came out that they had enough time to make it just how they wanted it?
And I know they came out and said it was 7GB not because it had less content but because they "had gotten better at making games and compressing them"(that was the quote that got me to preorder you lieing pricks).
Bioware basicly lied to their core gamers the entire time and now are just sitting back think of DLC for us to buy.

What? That's not true, there were at least 2 unique mansions in hightown.
One is DLC and the other you live in, and how does that make up for going into the same cave 30 times?

There is a DLC mansion? I am sure the Black Emporium is a store and Sebby lives in the Chantry.

Of course there was recycling - they never said there wasn't any. It was overdone, but it doesn't detract from the game.

It depends.
Sometimes I feel kind of annoyed to enter the same damn cave for the 30th time...or the same warehouse, or the same whatever...you get the idea.
And also...spiders, lots of spiders. There aren't even darkspawn...only in the beginning and in the Deep Roads, and that's it, apart from some quests.
But the spiders? Oh, they're everywhere.

The quest you do for him involves a unique mansion, sorta sad they put more time into the DLC areas then the actaul game.

Like I said, I think it was overdone, but it didn't detract from the game for me overall. I cared more about the story than anything else. Also, I've probably said this a zillion times by now, hehe, but I'm okay with it in certain areas, because I wouldn't expect a city or geographical feature to change all that much. The interior stuff is another matter, and I think BW has learned a valuable lesson as fas as that goes.
That being said, I actually think the cave environment(s) were actually pretty nice - like Hang Son Doong cave in Vietnam (longest cave passage in the world I believe). It's quite open with light coming in in some areas and lots of greenery (refer to the January 2011 issue of National Geographic if you want to see what I mean or google it). Still, no matter how nice they were, it did get repetitive to see them again and again. Either way, the file size certainly wasn't indicative of the number of hours of gameplay. I spent 53+ hours on my first DA:O run and 45+ hours on my first run in DA2. *shrug*

And the DLC crypt is an extensively recolored Tal Vashoth mine.
And Varric's brother's house is the same as Fenris's estate...

Varric's brother's house is the same as every mansions in high town, you fight the fake guards in the same place the Verric BS's soloing that big fight, and thats the same house Fernis is in as well(at least they added cobwebs to it). Sebastians DLC quest and Hawkes house are the only two diffrent places.

I don't think the DLC mansion (Harimann) is unique, I believe the DuPois mansion uses the same map.

Wow so if thats true I've been giving the game way more credit then it deserves.

Yeah... here and here, same "treasure room" with the glowing ceiling, and looking at the minimaps, the layouts are similar, though not identical. With the estates, the layouts are identical.

It's the same mansion layout as all of the others in the game. Certain areas are just blocked off (like the caves). You'll see that the main entry room in all mansions are the same, there's just different lighting and and occupied/abandoned versions.Cody211282 wrote...

Many things happen on Wounded Coast, its beaches and caves... it would be strange indeed to constantly have change in surroundings even tho u r actually in the same place (even Varric comments on it when u return to Wounded Coast for millionth time). Hawke is not traveler as your Warden - Hawke is not visiting places like Cadash thaig or Orzammar, or Denerim etc... so well, it actually works like in real life, my own city's been recycling surroundings for me for some 20 years now.
Realistic or not, it's boring.

Because its "realisitc" for the tunnels to the gallows, the mine at the bone pit and the caves and sundermount to all have the exact same layout.
And I wouldnt hvae minded being stuck in Kirkwall so much if they had put half as much detail into it as they did into one area in DA:O go back and look at the Cirle Tower, Orzimar, Denorim, all those places are filled with small deatils. By comparison Kirkwall looks like a cardboard cutout of a city for a highschool play.

That doesn't much sense...
Caves should be different. They are natural formations, and it hugely breaks immersion to find that every single one look exactly alike. No matter if the caves are supposedly used for mining, abandoned, or are just "mysterious", every single cave in the game was recycled with no exceptions. That is just plain lazy.
And as far as houses go, it's a stretch to say that every house in a city look alike in a modern time, never mind in a fantasy world of sword and sorcery. Somehow I can't quite imagine Kirkwall has a mega corporation that handles building contracts for every single mansion in the city.
