Seriously....Arishok >>>>>> Meredith.
The writing in Act 2 in some of the best I've ever seen in any video game, ever. Only planescape torment has it beat. The Quanari storyline was amazing.
Act 3, on the other hand, felt ridiculously rushed, and the last quest didn't explain anything regarding Orsino, his connection to the revolutionists/blood mages. the monster from Golems DAO DLC, what the idol actually was, or why Nate was really in the deep roads other than it "had something to do with the architect". It wasn't even a **** tease at a strip club.... a **** tease at least reveals more and is a little bit more coherent than that garbage
Bioware should have doubled the size of Act 2 and scrapped Act 3

I agree that Act 2 was best. I think it had to do with complex characters and a villain who was a worthy rival. Everyone just went insane throughout the rest of the game, especially act 3.

Why make the same thread twice?

Scrapping Act 3 and the accompanying quests would have rendered the fact Cassandra was seeking the Champions story from Varric pointless in the first place.

I will agree that Act 2 is epic and brilliant. I think Act 3 suffers mainly because if follows Act 2.
