The issue is that many people will think the heart simply establishes more relationships, but when I told Fenris that I wouldn't be into that he was EXTREMELY upset... which he shouldn't be if it's just an OPTION... as I was a guy after all.

Hell, he doesn't even WANT to be touched.

No, it's giving you a CHOICE to get it on with Anders, don't push the freaking button and you will forever stay a heterosexual...DUH

Only after being emasculated by Anders.

Plus I don't want the women of Kirkwall to have the wrong idea by having someone like Anders in my party (and I'm not even talking about him being a mage).

Then you are easily emasculated, I don't know what to tell you if a game makes you feel less a man. I am gay, the straight scenes don't bother me at all, I know who I am.

Wtf......what's wrong with you. Being gay doesn't make you emasculated. Please just stop typing.

And once again, I get the desire to cut all the straight scenes out of the game...

There's this guy I think you should meet.

Nice guy. Works at the brothel, second floor. Elf chap. Real friendly. Will probably have a quest-giver icon over his head at some point during the game.

Which is another problem I had with the game. I don't know what was going on with Kirkwall's brothel or maybe Kirkwall was full with homesexuals??? But why was there less choice for straight customers in the rose versus gay ones?

Judging from your party and the brothel you would think 50%-75% of the population of Kirkwell was gay or curious.

Sorry, I am a woman who loves woman. I never acknowledged MEN can be "emasculated" this way. Thats really new for me after a long life.
I should ask my male friends - straight and gay about this.

So I was "de-feminised" - is their a word for it? - if a men ask me to give him a kiss ? oh really, its a mad world....

I don't have any problem with ******/hetero/bisexuality in any way. That being said, I think I would have preferred there to be a little more of a realistic approach to it in game (ie some just plain straight/gay/bi characters) rather than have them all mostly bi-sexual. It just seemed a little too contrived to please everyone and took away a little realism for me.

Also...the person who is talking about being emasculated obviously does not understand the term nor does he really have a valid point.

Exactly. Like I stated  earlier before getting jumped on by a bunch of Lesbians (not that I have a problem with that) make it an option during character creation.

Straight
BI
Gay

Not that difficult.

All the people who insult anyone who disagrees with being gay... get off your high horse, seriously... or low horse in the general term I guess.

Not everyone wants that impression, especially not in a game, as that's still a person's fantasy being played out and being forced or even so obviously given the option is a poor trait of the game and it requires no effort and is one of the most unrealistic forms.

Just to get the haters to hate some more... I don't agree with homosexuals, my religion believes it a damnable sin, and--while I have known a few relatively good people who were of the homosexual variant--they were NOTHING like this thread would give off, and weren't about butt-sexing everything, nor did many of them even want sex with the same gender, as much as just having a relationship with the same gender or perhaps just not liking women.

In any case, it's not "old fashioned" to stick to either ones faith (though don't push that on others), or to disagree strongly with something, especially something that isn't as "widespread" or "mainstream" as this thread and its supporters would make you think... nor is it very accepted, except by it seems, the people in this thread and perhaps 20 - 50,000 other people... outside of that I really don't see much non-aversion to it.

So guys. One serious annoncement now.

DO NOT TALK TO Iamnotahater ANYMORE!!!!

I don´t see how you can fail to see he´s just trolling, besides, the name alone proofs it.

Rule of thumb: NEVER trust anyone with "I am" or "I am not" in the name. They usually are trolls.
The signup date is another hint (even though it wouldn´t qualify as troll without the other stuff).

and @ Mr troll: Read my guide about trollling. At least do it right, for f*cks sake, or even better stop entirely.

Edit: See, look at Aesieru. He isn´t funny either, but at least puts his hate speech in elaborate words and managed to bring religion in it, so even HE is better........ Which is pathethic.

Oh no, I don't want to hear about your religion, we fight wars because of religious stupidity, enough. Keep it in your church, don't preach to me brother.

"Not that difficult" such as not starting a romance with someone of the same sex in a videogame,
yeah, don't want to romance someone don't start a romance not that difficult is it?

That's not hate speech, your immaturity, ignorance, and desire to see it as such shows that you're looking for a problem, and you just don't agree with anyone who disagrees with your view on it.

No one is better than anyone, despite who we are.

In any case, I'm about ready to report you for harassment and bigotry (against anyone that is actively non-homosexual).

Yes let's rag on one of the genuinely good and progressive things BioWare has done.
Here's a tip. If you don't want a homosexual relationship, just say no! If you're a man and Anders is attracted to you, SO WHAT. Get over it! Say no and that's the end.
If you seriously think that in any way diminishes you, YOU have problems.

Truthfully I had no idea that Bioware had such an active GTBL. Nor do I have a problem with gays. Heck I even signed up to support the GTBL at IBM (they bribed me with free cupcakes and skittles). What I have a problem with is Bioware forcing a unrealistic and uncomfortable situation upon my character.

Plus I like to play my computer characters as being badass and not have PC statements forced upon me with RPG's.

Oh well I still have the witcher I guess.
