Now this is odd
Everything works fine except i still cannot get the follower to appear on the partypicker now. Still joins the party just not visually there on the stage. I followed the wiki exactly again and when I use the diagnostic I get this message:
Follower= gen00fl_alucard no waypoint found
I've checked the duplicate stage I created and that waypoint is there. I checked all my scripts and exported everything and everything checks out too. I seem to be having the same issue as this gent here:

how he resolved it I have no idea. Any help appreciated

I assume that the other guy found an error in his waypoint tag. In your case, it needs to be char_party_alucard (assuming that the follower tag is party_alucard).
A mistake I sometimes make is to put the tag in the waypoint's name field. The area then appears to be correct, unless you look at the Object Inspector for the waypoint itself.
If that's not it, perhaps your stage isn't loading at all, for some reason?
