I have made seperate saves before each act just in case i missed something and I would want to go back to the previous act. However, I have noticed that items from merchants will have new items everytime after completing each act, but they do not sell any items from the previous act except the Black Emporium. What items are worth buying before I proceed onto the next act from Act I, Act II and Act III. If you can please post for Rouge, Warrior and Mage class items that are worth buying.

uhmmm the compagnion armor and potions.

i never really bought specific items other than some trinkets in the black emporium . you get enough good drops.

but i think if you want to be a bloodmage, there is a shop in lowtown that sells specific items

There is some special merchants that usually have some good items like *immune to crits* *immune to stun*, etc but they are very expensive. I don't know if there any available in act one but in act two I found a golem merchant in Sundermount in a cave dungeon that sold special items like that and another merchant at the Wounded Coast - I think around the area where the dwarf in act one sends you to fight the TalVaShoth (whatever, I know that's wrong, lol) so the Arishok will sell him blackpowder.

In act 3 those merchant shops will reset with more items as well so it's good to check on them in each act just like the regular shops. If you're in act one, you can try checking if they are there but I'm not sure if they are because I didn't see the merchant that's at wounded coast when I did the blackpowder quest.

Mostly, you can relay on drops if your poor sov wise though. It's not DAO where you can just run off and get The Roses Thorn, Lifegiver, etc asap and then relax for the rest of the game. :(

For the end fight I had hawke (2H) and isabela equipped with immunity to stun that - combined with avelines general immunity to pretty much anything - meant that when meredith start monologing while sending out stun waves I pretty much tore her apart.

Just make sure you buy the spell/skill tome from Hubert's shop in Hightown. It disappears after Act 1... there are some other tomes in various shops in each act, as well as armor upgrades for companions. I'm 80% sure you can't find armor upgrades once you finish an act.

The merchant in the Woudned Coast usually has some good gear.  He sells Cold-Blooded which is an awesome staff for mages in Act 2.  He also sells a really good ring in act 3 for mages.

Nexus Golem sells some good rings in act 2.

The merchant in the Hanging Man sells some good rogue gear from what I remeber, both in Act 2 and 3.  Also the merchant in the sewer sells some good rogue gear I think.

immunity to knockback and stuns are must have on any melee character, or range for that matter. Nothing more annoying than getting stun locked by archers.

He's in the back room at the end of the hall.  Maybe it's dependant on a choice?

There are 2 Immunity to Stun rings the, because the merchant at the Wounded Coast sells one named Ring of the Ferryman in Act 3.

Cool.  Totally saving up to buy that.  I miss the Juggernaut Plate from the first game, so the ring could fill a bit of that void.

I think the merchant only becomes one after you do a certain quest (set up by Isabela) if there's another merchant in the hanged man then I missed him as well.

Here's a pic of the merchant in the Hanged Man, Martin.  He sells a bunch of poisons too, but mostly Rogue Gear.  I think he had the Rose's Thorn on sale in act 2.  Not sure on that, but I coulda swore I saw it for sale somewhere.

He's the only merchant that I know of who sells the group revive potion.  I couldn't check the docks becasue I'm at the end of the game so it automatically goes to cutscene.
