No. I won't, since DA2 is such a mess I'd at least wait 6 months for any patches when it comes to DA3; and to see if they can fix the mess they did of the world and story.

Ofc, day 1 purchase for me. Can always spam the forum afterwards what a waste of money it was and how disappointed I am.

Not a chance, DA2 cured me of any pre-ordering ideas from BW in the future :(

I never buy anything without checking it out first anyway. Never thought it was a good idea to spend my limited game fund on something I have no idea if I'll like.

Not a chance. The reason I'm still here is I want clarification about Morrigan ( she is said to make appearance in DA 3) , toolset for DA 2 and lastly to find out if BioWare still continues to streamline their RPG and the use of third person narrative ( I still hate it in my role-play because it make the character not mine, like Shepard and Hawke, and ruin my ability to shape the story the way I use to in NW, NW2 and Origins ).

Absolutely. I enjoyed DA2 very much. As a rule I don't pre-order, but I'll buy DA3 on day 1 or at least week one for sure, provided my finances allow for it.

I find most folks have completely irrational, unreasonable and/or weak arguments to back up their "DA2 is garbage. Fact. Shame on you Bioware" complaints.

Comes down to pre-order stuff.

Used to pre-order regardless...now..if it's another collection useless junk that I wont' even use...pre-ordering won't be so paramount...wait a couple weeks and pick it up $15 - 20 bucks cheaper...

Please don't call people Hater Troll or Fanboy here... I like this thread clean!

It's nothing about hate... If Da2 was a total different day born in that manner noone comes here to express complain...But when you take a game that already have a nice formula and begins to cut here cut there streamlize here streamlize there.. Its normal people get angry

Fair enough. I wasn't intending to point fingers or stir the pot. Original post edited.

Short answer, no.

Due to all of the changes, major and minor with DA2 (some good, some bad) I'm not gonna pre-order until a certain amount of information is released or I can get a good feel for it.

DA2 I have little interest in, not even sure if i'll pick it up when it's in the bargain bin. DA:O is something I'll replay when i get my new video card. DA3 would have to get back to where DA:O left off before i'd even be remotely interested. Goodness help us, SWtOR better be in good hands...

After all this crap that people are flinging at Bioware and EA, I would assume they have at least learned something. So yes, I might preorder it....

Well in the past I bought every BioWare games by pre-orders or in relase day, even twice ( i.e I had one copy ME PC version and second as a Xbox 360 ver) and I never regret this. I bought also DA:O blindly and I had a good fun with game and toolset. Then DA2 comes and well...it was a cure, really. Now the only and the last BioWare/EA game I will buy in relase day is ME3.

Yes, probably. Though it will likely depend on DLC quality that appears between now and a DA3 release (if there is one).

No.

I waited until a few days before the SE preorder deadline was up with DA2, so I could learn as much as possible about the game beforehand (note this was the first game I've ever preordered).

I always like to have a decent amount of information regarding gameplay, mechanics, etc before I purchase, 99% of the time, I wait until reviews are released before bothering to purchase, as I don't really feel like wasting money on a subpar game.

DA2 was enjoyable, albeit flawed. Depending on what the story is and what Bioware has changed from DA:O and DA2, there's a decent chance that I'll buy it on the first day. I still enjoyed it more than a lot of other games I've played in recent years.

In a way, DAII made me realize that even the "best" studio can make games that arent the masterpiece that we are used to.

The release of DAII prevents me from being as hyped for ME3 as I would be. If the design(small dev window, rushed product, compromises with all mechanics and ideas) that was applied to DAII is repeated accross the entire studio, I can only mean bad things.

Depending on what information they release regarding ME3 before it's release, I might not even pre-order and wait to see the critical reception from fans and reviews.

I played the demo and saw videos of gameplay online, I knew what I was getting into when I bought DA2 and I'll probably do the same thing with DA3.

To be quite honest, I regret preordering DA2 despite all of my misgivings about the changes, and will not be preordering ME3 or any other Bioware games after this one. If they can't be bothered to make high quality products, I can't be bothered to blindly support them. Doesn't mean I won't give them another chance, but I will wait and see before purchasing.

I am actually very glad I waited for Jade Empire to hit the bargain bin. I will probably do the same for future Bioware games if this trend continues.

well,i for one, never buy games without doing some research about them. That also mean that i rarely/never get dissapointed with my purchase.

And in all honest i enjoyed my time in DA 2 more then DA:O, but thats me. Does that mean i will buy a bioware/blizzard/bethesda/<insert dev here> without watching gameplay vids/ reading or watching interviews? hell no, but games from those companys are more likely to draw me attention, but i dont spend my money before checking if its for me first.

I never get something the day it is out. The last time I preordered something must be some 7 years ago. And it was a major disappointment. Not only a buggy release, which seems to be the standard nowadays, but also a total hack. Quite different to what press releases made you believe.

So no, there's no company or franchise having a big enough name to trust them blindly.
